Help with Polish Wedding vocabulary and phrases

I am minister of Chorley United Reformed Church and am looking for some assistance, if you are able to give it.

I will be conducting a wedding on Saturday.
The groom is English, but the bride is Polish.

In order to make the Polish guests welcome, I would really like to be able to say the following parts of the service in Polish :

1) Good afternoon. Welcome to Chorley URC.
2) Who gives this woman to be married to this man?
3) The blessing of God Almighty, Father, Son and Holy Spirit will be with us all.

Please could anyone give me (in English spelling!) the Polish for those phrases for me to learn.

I'm sorry but I can not provide that, my English isn't good enough, maybe some native English speaker would be able to help. I think listening to the pronunciation might actually help OP to judge by himself whether he's up to the task. Learning the last two phrases can be challenging.

Yes indeed, listening to the right pronunciation is the best way of learning and ivona.com does provide it. Hopefully the OP will not get scared of the alien sound of Polish and will manage that without the "English spelling".

The link to ivona is brilliant - I never thought of using a text to voice service.
Have had to break down the phrases into small chunks in order to distinguish the sounds.

It would be great to get the pronunciation perfect or else very close, but I don't think that will be possible in the timescale.

If I can get it good enough for a native speaker to understand that will be a start.

A small 'warning' for your guests that you will try to speak Polish in a moment should help if you don't get the pronunciation absolutely correct. They will know to expect to hear Polish, otherwise they might not even realise that you tried to communicate in their native language and all your hard work will go to waste :)

Just to update you.

The wedding this afternoon was beautiful - everyone (including me) being given a buttonhole to wear on arrival.
Sweets etc were going to be thrown as the couple left the church, but it was raining so hard that they had to postpone that to the reception.

Apparently, I got the welcome and the blessing right, but my pronunciation of the giving away was slightly off. The attempt was appreciated though.

Best Man - Drużbą?

Pageboy - ?

Usher - ?

The school offers courses dedicated to adults that present dynamic communicative approach and are enriched with cultural trips. Anyway, it is needless to say that the best method of learning target language is visiting the coiuntry where this łanguage is spoken.
