News / What Poland can't do right [113]

They can't build roads!!!!!!
haha, I'm surprised nobody posted this. With all the open space in Poland, there is no reason not to have an adequate highway infrastructure throughout the whole country, especially in the Podkarpackie woj. The highway system here is incredibly old., and a major upgrade is needed, REAL FAST, before Euro 2012. Hopefully, it's not too late.

USA, Canada / Getting a VISA to USA by a Polish person nowadays [339]

Hey, just looking for opinions. What is the chance of a Polish person getting a VISA to the US nowadays? How about someone working in the UK, and wanting to apply for a VISA at the embassy in London? Anybody with opinions? comments?

Thanks,
Paul

Life / Reliable Weather Service In Poland? [25]

wunderground.com
Reliable in my opinion, it even gives you the location it is getting the forecast from. A city, airport, etc.

USA, Canada / Polish Citizen, US legal resident, but no Polish Passport... [67]

I just renewed my Polish passport last week in NYC which had expired in 2006. It was very easy, and it cost me about $100 for everything including the photos, which were $29 for only four at this place close to the consulate. (Students receive a 50% discount.) In addition, I was able to get my PESEL and renew my passport at the same time. I got everything done in one trip. I'll receive my passport in 3-5 months by mail
