Yes it is true, Poland had something like homewar. To be honest communist governemnt was established by Sowiets and many of Home Army soldiers were oppresed.

What is important, some solediers of home army were fighting against soviets and commies after 1945. Many of soldiers who used to fight against Nazi Germany durring WWII were oppresed after the war by communist government.

Our government and different organisations. We don't have "green" party in our parlament. there are some members of this parlament who takes care about it.

We couldn't build biger road to Lithuania because of ecologs.

Because of beautiful ecosystem of Rospuda

in comparison to toher ecosystems we have in Poland it isn't noting special ... but the fact is that we have to use the newst thechnology or find another way. Nature is the most important and ecologs are strong in Poland.

Umm....so you would describe Poland as industrialized and crowded as GB and Germany?

no because it isn't so industralized like UK or Germny. and it isn't 3rd world country. The fact is that Poland is much cleaner than UK or Germany especialy in North part of our beautiful country. And we have nice incomes becuase of it :) and discussion about poluted Poland are harming for us, because nature is Poland's strong point.

That is why we care so much about it. :)

After communism Poland was totally bankrupted (thanks to Russia) in 90s we started to work hard and we do it all the time ... because we care. :)

We have so many national parks our rivers are cleaner and cleaner.

Now we introduce NATURE 2000 program and 20% of Polands territory will be protected :)

Yes we are not perfect :( but we work hard and natural environment is one of the most important issues in our government policy.

Bratwurst it is really our strong point :)

but we build a lot of new sewage treatment plants and we have stared to do it in 90's our rivers are much cleaner than it was. And will be cleaner every year.

Polands nature is in much better condition than Gemrman or British.

so why he moved back with his family form Russia to Poland. why Jews were escaping Germany and going to Poland. Why Jews in 1950s had the same more problems in USA than Jews in Poland in 1930s. Why you moan so much when Poland holded in prisons people who didn,t want Jews on univesities. Why some Polish Jews hold Polish flags on their homes in Israel ? I still think they are mostly a religion (at least in Europe).

I was talking about 1930s and we know that it wasn't just religon in this time. Jewish socialists form Bund (mentioned before) were not religous. They considered Yiddish language as something what gave them unity.

As to Jews and Harry,

Wife of our Minister Sikorski Anne Applebaum has Jewish origin.

I was laghing when German foreign affairs minister visited Poland with his wife and they all were sleeping in Skorskis house. Funny situation from historical point of view.

But I agree...it's a people too...

And provided they didn't want to join the professional associations which regulated and validated those professions.
