Real Estate / Landlord accuses of not paying rent. Poland. [6]
Hi everybody,
I recieved an email from my LL accusing me of not having paid the rent for january. He gave me 3 days to pay and threatened me to kick me out.
The problem is, that I paid in time (as I always have). I sent him all the bank documents certifying that the transaction had been executed with success. And asked him kindly to check again or ask his bank where the money ended up.
I checked all the bank coordinates again and even called my bank just to be sure that it was not my fault.
I tried to call him for 2 days, to clear everything, but he never picks the phone. Finally, he replied to my email, saying that he didn't understand what I was saying (which is a straight out lie to say the least, since he speaks english very well) and threatened me again.
What should I do? Should I give-in and pay again? What do I risk and how real are his threats?
Thank you in advance to anybody who would give me a kind answer.
