Life / Wrapping Christmas presents before shipping to Poland. [2]

@Madara521
The consignee will get to receive the parcel. If you wrap small packets and put it into one big packet. The big packet will have only one consignee. He/she shall receive that packet. After that, He/she should individually resend those small packets to final consignee address.

If the receiver of your individual present is different, You better send those individual parcel to desired consignee individually.

And if the consignee is only one, then you can wrap as you desire. Just Don't let the volume exceed the weight. Balance it. It will save you cost.

You can always consult with your local cargo/courier service. They will precisely guide you about the packaging, delivery time, costs and others.

Work / Salary & cost of living in Warsaw, Poland [29]

@ dovla

You have said that "Temporary work and residence permit" is issued by the Polish embassy.
Once you arrive to Poland, you only need to register your place of residence.

This means after registering your place of residence, wojewoda will issue a identity card so that the employee don't have to carry passport all the time. Am I correct?

@ DominicB
Its a very complicated situation. There is always a loopholes in the system. It's said you can't do that legally, but the loopholes shows how can you do that legally or if not illegally.

However, May I know what is the situation of Human Trafficking in Poland? Like, employers not paying their employee what is promised to pay in employment contract, holding employee's passport, not providing minimum good working conditions, forcing employer to do extra overtime (more than the law of Poland) and not paying accordingly (especially for the employee who will be working under PLN 6000 gross)?

Who is the governing department to solve all these matters? Voivodeship office or does Poland has other specific department?

Work / Salary & cost of living in Warsaw, Poland [29]

@DominicB

OK.
I have some questions.
Just after getting approval/ permit to work/ invitation from voivode, the candidates have to apply for National Visa.
When they arrive to Poland, what documents or procedure they have to fulfill?
Do they have to legalize their stay further or have to apply for Temporary resident permit?? Or does the work permit from voivode office is OK to stay and work?

and the beauty of migrating from one country to another is to learn. Not only person from India, but if You also migrate to India or in other cases, you will surely learn the language in some time. You don't have to be professor level expert. Till then you will have your job to take care of you.

Yes, 8000PNL in Poland is not so much enough compared to 120000 INR. But Jaz can consider requesting salary hike.!

Work / Salary & cost of living in Warsaw, Poland [29]

@DominicB

Jaz is an Indian. He/She knows how to save. For your information, getting 120000 INR per month in India is for those only who have potentiality. Its not a cup of tea for everyone.

@DominicB
I think I have said this...
"That doesn't mean that you couldn't save some. But I think, if you save properly in India. you could atleast save 50,000 INR + per month in India. While you surely have to struggle a little bit more to save same amount in Poland with Gross Salary of 8000PLN."

not
"That doesn't mean that you couldn't save some." Only!!

Do you believe that if a third world (so called) person (in labor category) gets 2500 PNL. Then he/she will save atleast 1000 PLN per month.

You may wonder how? But I shall only tell you at the moment that, this is a very sacred art that is perfected by years and years of dedication. And this doesn't mean that he will be living rat life in Poland.

Chill. Cheers.! :)

@Jaz

With gross salary 8000PLN
You will get net salary 5639.91 PLN. x 18.20 = 1,02,646.36 INR
* Gross/net salary calculator : zarobki.pracuj.pl/kalkulator-wynagrodzen?Salary=8000&SalaryType=2
* Exchange rate 1pnl = 18.20 INR.

To my knowledge Cost of living in Poland is cheaper than most other European countries, but not cheaper than India.That doesn't mean that you couldn't save some. But I think, if you save properly in India. you could atleast save 50,000 INR + per month in India. While you surely have to struggle a little bit more to save same amount in Poland with Gross Salary of 8000PLN.

Instead, I think you can easily afford Europe tour with 120000 INR per month income.
Chill, Relax, ghumo, ghumao, kyu bekar ki tention mai padneka?

Nevertheless, you can bargain the more salary.

Cheers

Work / What are the Tax contribution that a foreigner employee should pay against income/months in PL (excluding PIT) [2]

To All
I wonder if anybody could suggest.
What are the exact tax contribution that a foreigner employee should pay against income/month who is working for Polish Employer.

Some source suggested me that PIT must be deducted from the gross salary, and Health Insurance Contribution and Social Security Contribution will be paid by Employer on behalf of Employee. That means that Employee will get net salary after PIT deduction. I wonder if the Health Insurance Contribution and Social Security Contribution will be paid by Employer on behalf of Employee, then Doesn't those pay shall be counted as gross salary?

Is it true that Employer will pay Health Insurance Contribution and Social Security Contribution on behalf of Employee without deducting from Employee's Gross Salary.

But I have come to some source that, the employee should pay from his gross salary (Refn : home.kpmg.com/xx/en/home/insights/2011/12/poland-other-taxes-levies.html)[/url]

1) Pension Fund (9.76%)
2) Disability Fund (1.5%)
3) Illness Fund (2.45%)
4) Mandatory health insurance contributions are also payable by the employee at 9% of income, however, 7.75% is deductible from tax as a credit, so in practice the net cost to the individual is 1.25%

5) What about Social security contribution??

PS for Non EU employee.

Please suggest.

Law / How to legally do an agency contract in Poland? [12]

@Atch

I have already send a email to that reference you have mentioned. Lets hope it will respond soon.
However, Does the polish community has "Polish Language for foreigner" classes?
If yes, can you please give me a reference.
Note. For foreigners who will be working in sectors that don't need much communication in polish language in first few weeks. It will be better if one can learn the local language for future.

I will let you know about the main title if I have got any specific idea.

Cheers:)

Law / How to legally do an agency contract in Poland? [12]

@ DominicB

Thanks for your reply. Appreciate it!

I wanted to know if anybody has an experience or have some idea. Like: a contract must be verified with this govt office, a contract must be in dual language etc etc.(more about some basic regarding Polish practice) and doing this this will make a contract more legal and stronger..

After having some ideas I may get or approach real-world expert for funneling the exact need or diversifying the scope of having more ideas.. Not only for me it will be a helpful.. it may increase the knowledge of others.

And I don't think that you are a clown, you are an Expert on experience you have (having some idea also counts.. lol) , it is the different thing that you may be better in other things. But I am looking for a clue. I am sure that if somebody with some experience gives some input in this thread.. then you and I can be a more Expert in this matter in some time.

Cheers
Thanks again. :)
