Travel / Buying train tickets - easiest / cheapest way to buy them in Poland? [4]

Hi a lot of the bigger train stations in Poland (e.g. Kraków Główny & Gdańsk Główny) have electronic ticket machines either on the platform or on the way to them.

The tickets machines usually have an English language option as well and are easy to use. Usually, you can also pay by card. Hope this helps :)

UK, Ireland / Any Polish get together in Wolverhampton/Wednesbury area in UK [2]

Hi, I don't live in the Wolverhampton area, so I can only answer in general. In my experience, there are various ways you could meet a Polish person for a language or cultural exchange:-

1) Put an advert on Gumtree. They have a specific category for language exchanges.
2) Check Facebook to see if there are any language exchange groups in your area.
3) Try mylanguageexchange.com/Default.asp You can sign up to this site for free but if you want to email someone you have to pay a token fee. You could meet via here either in person, or you could speak to a native Polish person living in Poland via Skype.

I think you may have more success in meeting someone if you do both a language exchange, as well as cultural one but you never know, you may find a Polish person who is happy to teach about Polish culture only, in exchange for help with English language.

If you don't have any joy with the above options and still have some questions about Polish culture, please fee free to send me a private message. I'm native English born but my Dad was Polish and I have Polish family, so I'd be happy to help :)
