I was hoping for at least 6k net but they floated a number like 4500. Its not final yet but I don't know how to pitch my case to them.

Work / Anybody know about Datainvest Company in Torun? 4500 PLN net salary. [4]

Hi,

I had an interview with Datainvest company in Torun. Anybody heard of it? Is it a good company? It seems like they were really miser when it came to salary negotiations and didn't want to offer a handsome salary. What is a good salary to ask in Torun? Is 4500 PLN net a good amount in Torun?

Thanks,

Law / Is it easy to launch a technology startup company in Poland as a foreigner? [3]

Hi,

I am interested to know what are the rules and regulations to launch a technology startup company in Poland (in particularly in Poznan). Can I do it as a foreigner if I am studying/working in Poland? I am sure there must be a lot of incubators in Poland but do they consider foreigners' ideas and help them in incubating their companies if they are on work/study visas?

Thanks,

Law / How to bring your savings to Poland [9]

I will be coming from Pakistan and I am aware of this rule of 10,000 Euros but just did not feel like carrying this much so that's why asking for options. I hope wire transfer rates are not that much. I will also check with my bank in Pakistan to find out about my options.

Law / How to bring your savings to Poland [9]

Hi,

I will be coming to Poznan in June. I wanted to ask how can I bring my savings with me. Should I consider bringing a little money and later wire transferring the remaining to a bank account in Poznan or should I just bring all of it with me. I don't feel safe with the later option. Any pointers will be helpful.

Thanks

Merged: Working at AMU as PhD Candidate

Hi,
I will be working at AMU as a PhD candidate on a project with University of Hertfordshire, UK as a partner university. I have been offered PLN 3000 per month for my stay in Poznan with additional funds available for my visits to UK. I wanted to know if this amount will be sufficient to live on and where can I live in Poznan. I am from Pakistan and will be coming to Poznan in summers.

Thanks,
