Genealogy / I'm pure Polish and have some red hair on my beard [23]

It's probably Scottish ancestry, I have some too in that case ;) As a full redhead that is (Jk, I'm making fun of those who believe Polish red heads are of Scottish ancestry). My mother is half Silesian and half Polish and my father is Belarusian, not really pure Polish but whatever floats your boat :/

Volhynian Czechs - Were did they come from?

Hello, my maternal grandmother is partially Czech (from Wołyń), and I've been wondering where her Czech ancestors came from. So far, I understand that most came from Moravia and Cieszyn Silesia? The "Czech" surname in our family is "Tuhy" which means solid, but the ancestor spelled it "Tugy", as a Cieszyn Silesian would. Anyway, do you know where the Czech settlers of Galicia came from? I know why already.

UK, Ireland / Poles revealed to harbour deep hatred against Anglos when they speak in their own language [62]

Are you this dumb or are you just a troll? Should've seen the hundreds of anti-Polish snobby comments on the British 'news' site. These dumb sl**s don't represent 40+ million people but the daft twats in the comments think other wise, about the 'centuries of murdering Jews', have you got any sources?

Daily Star: dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/553610/Poland-Sisters-Street-Attack-Alexsandra-Angelika-Mut-Rochdale-Manchester

The Sun: [********************************************************************************************************************************]

The Times: thetimes.co.uk/article/polish-sisters-spared-jail-for-racist-attack-mdkfthr7w

The Express: express.co.uk/news/uk/721304/Polish-sisters-Aleksandra-Mut-Angelika-Mut-racial-attack-british-women-Manchester

Notice the word 'racist' in every single title/url. But when 2 Polish men are killed, it's a plain-old 'hate crime', it's obviously only racist when Poles attack someone. Notice how all those articles point out how the sisters have been spared jail (which I think is wrong) but they don't do the same about the Polish men murdered for no reason by British teens, who have been spared jail-time. It works both ways mate.

In comparison, look at these:

The Mirror: mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/teens-arrested-after-polish-man-8991964]

ITV News: itv.com/news/anglia/update/2016-10-06/five-teenagers-released-by-police-investigating-killing-of-polish-man

BBC News: bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-37576404]
The Sun: thesun.co.uk/news/1924315/five-teens-arrested-after-a-polish-man-was-killed-in-hate-crime-attack-released-without-charge-due-to-lack-of-evidence/]

IBT UK: ibtimes.co.uk/five-teens-arrested-over-harlow-polish-hate-crime-murder-released-without-charge-1585155

The Independent:independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/arek-jozwik-killing-harlow-hate-crime-post-brexit-racism-eu-referendum-poles-polish-immigrant-police-a7348091.html

Also, notice how all the titles have the term 'hate-crime' in quotation marks, but when they did the articles on the 'racist' attacks by the Polish girls (c***s), there are no quotation marks. Strange isn't it?

History / Polish-Hungarian border exchange? [60]

Poland's territory were in the Austrian part

Exactly. I have no idea what this idiot demand from us, maybe he's a little behind on history and still thinks that Western Ukraine belongs to Poland?

History / Polish-Hungarian border exchange? [60]

Maybe he's thinking Austro-Hungarian empire

If so, Austro-Hungary controlled the smallest area of Poland, in comparison to Imperial Germany and Tsarist Russia. In any case, he's without a doubt a troll.

Funny you should say that, but I'm afraid this is no place for trolls.

Genealogy / Julianna Schlagowski and Friedrich Kornatz, Prangenau - Genealogy help [14]

If you mean if the name could have been spelt in 3 different ways then that is likely. But if you mean if the 3 names could be your relatives (?), then that is highly unlikely.

My own surname was spelt Bernatovich, Bernatovic and Bernatowicz. Currently spelled as the last one, doesn't mean that Bernatovichs or Bernatovics are my relatives.

That could work.

Of course, it depends on what type of food you plan to serve people with.

Language / What language is this? Kashubian or Silesian? [37]

Yes but the way it's spelt is Belarusian as Polish is Bernatowicz and Ukrainian is Bernatovych. Besides, if the family is Belarusian, doesn't that make the last name Belarusian.
