This is fascinating and completely new to me , i didnt know you could attach those prefixes to verbs and change the whole meaning .

I will look into this , can you explain one last little thing . there are imperfective and perfective forms of each verb yes? and the imperfective is czytac / czytam czyta etc , but i read that the perfective form is used to descrive a finshed state like " i have read a book " instead of czytam ksiazke ( reading a book . so woudnt you use the perfective form of czytac instead of przeczytasz ?

Sorry it was me that posted off my phone, my speeling was off the correct is like xxxyyy said " przeczytasz " the sentence is " przeczytasz te ksiazke ? " . but i do not not understand the word as it has PRZE in front ? czytasz i get , Przeczytalem i kind of get ( i think it means that you were reading ) like yester day i was reading would be somthing like wzcojai przeczytalem . why not just czytasz te ksiazke ? what does it all mean please ? does putting Prze in front of present tense verbs make something im not aware about. thanks for all help

i thought it would not be genitive because it is not using the " of " / " 's " rule .. so like , i have adam's beer .. would be genitive . or " beer of adam " but you are not using either of those two , or is genitive when saying that I , myself have anything ? i have cat i have beer , i have 24 pairs of shoes etc , if so what about we have ? or they have ? or you have ?

again cave man simpe answers would be great , apologies if your feel like you are teaching a brick wall here but it will sink in .

i do not understand what you mean by " killlka works like numbers over 5 " ?
i do not understand what " jeszcze " means either sorry

if you use troche or killka in a sentence does it make the noun a pluralbecause your offering a quantity , or maybe just killka ? or no to both ?

s0oooo basically there is no set rule , like theres the " exception to the rule " but you poles are taking the **** now ...

on a serious note i will look out for any nouns ending with a letter with a litte stick above them .. and then i will besically guess i think and then try and remember .

P.S - why in a million years does rossetta think i am going to know that wielkość is female ... ON LEVEL 1 !!!!!!!!????????

wielkosci ends in i yes .. but you have put ...... wielkość in your reply , i imagine because this is the nomittive/dictionary form of the word ?

i thought because telefony komorkowe ends with an e it would be a Tego samego , and then i thought well maybe it goes off of the telefony which ends in y but that would mean its male and it should still be tego samego .. if i am understanding this page / chart from the slavic website you guys keep posting up , i know its a bit crushed but it says female is tej . but im obviously understanding somehting wrong . hope you can help .

ok thank you for taking the time to explain , you have helped.

i have looked on the slavic site many times and many others , but half of the words they are using i do not understand , so i certainly can not use it to understand another language , i am trying , i am not wasting your time . i am just not getting how these question/tables are surpose to help , ? i do not know how i am surpsoe to implement them into building a sentence in my head and choosing the right ending of a word by thinking through different versions of Who/what ? some one telling me here that male nouns get an (A) when in the genitive and female get an I or Y .. that helps , that sinks in , i can use that

but not many of these tables , books , explain things in a way i can use , hell even rosetta doesnt actually explain anything you just guess to start with . at least that sinks in though , i think i will start level 2 , try that hurra po polsku thing and see where im at after that .

so male , female and neut nouns have set genitive replacing letters generally . thats good .

so are all male names male nouns is there any male names ending in A or I or O etc and if so do they get the male genitive replacement letter regardless or must they then have the female or neut replacement genitive ending ?

also do you have to use change or alter any other words /pronouns in the genitive or is it just nouns ? i noticed there were diferent versions of " who " and " what" depending on which case but i dont understand why .

and i also see you have put - piłka ( tego ) dziecka - i havnt seen this word yest is this a genitive version of a word ? if so how many others is there ?
