Travel / HITCH-HIKING FROM MIELEC TO KRAKOW? [3]

Hey, Im Nadia. Im from Indonesia :)
I want to ask some questions

Me and my friend want to go to krakow next weekend
Is it safe to hitch-hike from Mielec to Krakow?
And where is the suitable place to do it?

How about the hostel in Krakow? Is it expensive?
Do they have backpacker hostel there?
