Real Estate / Great areas to stay if working in Plac Grunwaldzki (Wroclaw)? [4]

We are moving to Wroclaw mid July and will be working in Plac Grunwaldzki, We don't intend to buy a car and want to use public transport.

Can any one suggest good areas to take an apartment (on rent) nearby.
Key Criteria are communication to centre of city, safety, access to parks and health clubs
