Law / I am citizen of EU. What happens when i register in Poland? [4]

Good day!

My first post here! And i love the forum!

I am moving down to Poland, again, the second time around, to £ódz actually. Been living there before, and also in Warsaw.

Going to work for a big company there. I am a native Swede, so i guess i will put up more threads here later on for those wishing to meet up for a beer or so later. Would be nice to meet more expats in Lodz.

Ok, so i have a question about registering in Poland and if you could help me with this matter?

First off what is it that you register for?, PESEL or Karta Pobytu? Or is it the same? And what is the purpose of registering after three months?, Do i really need that? I already have a bank account at a major bank, so i do not need it for bank issues.

Furthermore, will i get the post automatically from Sweden to Poland after the registration? and what else is good with the registration do the Poles send any information to Sweden about me now living abroad, or how does that work?

Yeah, please help me with this jazz, and i am very thankful!
