Life / Can a 17 year old, buy beer and cigarettes in Poland? [30]

Going to Poland in 4 days and I'm planning on getting some cigarettes for friends, as it loads cheaper over there.
Only problem is I'm 17 and look it.
If I go to a corner-shop or a paper shop, will they ask for ID?
