Genealogy / About Raczkowski [16]

Polonius3
I'll bet we all know the difference between Raczkowski and Rączkowski. I am most definitely a Raczkowski as were my father and grandfather.

As I stated above, I'd love to find my father's half-sister in Poland.

Genealogy / About Raczkowski [16]

Hi,
I'm a Raczkowski. My father was Czesław, b 1917, and my grandfather was Francziszek. My grandfather left my father and my grandmother in Krasnistaw and remarried. I know that my father ended up having a half sister somewhere in Poland but he didn't know her name. I'd love to find her or, more likely, her family. My father had a brother who was executed during WWII. My father was active in the Polish Peasant Party and had quite a history during the war. We came to the US from England in 1950 and I have two living siblings. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
