Genealogy / Michal Orlik, born 28/09/1925 Bazaar, poland, surely I have relatives somewhere? [12]

Many thanks, for your reply.
I was surprised when I saw on my Father's Death Certificate Bazar, as whenever he mentioned Poland, (which was not often) he only mentioned Krakow, I am not sure where to go from here, thankyou, linda

Thankyou very much for your reply, Teresa, I have just sent an email, with all the information I have, (which is not a lot)
I can only hope

hello z_darius,
You are correct, my Dad was Born in Bazar, not Bazaar.
Do you know if that little church in Bazar has an email address, I have gone to the map, but I do not understand the Polish language, I am in Australia, so it needs to be in English for me.

If you could post a link to contact them, I would be so very grateful....thankyou, Linda

Genealogy / Michal Orlik, born 28/09/1925 Bazaar, poland, surely I have relatives somewhere? [12]

I am desperate for help...please.

I live in Australia, and have no idea of my Polish relatives, no matter how hard I try.
My Father was born in Bazaar, 28/09/1925, his name was Michal Orlik, parents and family unknown, although he once mentioned a sister Theresa, who was shot by the Germans.

He came out to Australia as a misplaced person, departed Trieste, Italy 20/10/1949 ( I have located that paperwork) My Father never spoke of his past, and is now dead.

Please, I know I am clutching at straws, but will someone please help me, by checking church records, (he was a Catholic) if I found out parents names, I might be able to further this painful, frustrating journey I am on, to find my living relatives.

I cannot believe that I have no living relatives, and would appreciate any help this forum and members could provide me,

Many thanks Linda Ashton
