Work / Job Offer in Gliwice at 4000zł – is it enough money? [17]

Well, after living here in Poland for just over 2 years. You will "Survive" and survive only. You will have to forget about have the luxuries that you had in the UK. Remember, if you want to leave Poland to retunr to the UK etc, you will have diddly squat to live on. Think hard.

Travel / First Time Visit To Poland (travelling from England) [14]

Greg. Will you PM me with your details. I live in Legnica with is immediately off the A4 and one hour into Poland from Germany. So if you need a bit of a rest bite, cuppa, clean screens etc, more than happy to help. Bike myself, but sold my R1 when I moved over here. Looking at a new bike next year.

Real Estate / Looking to purchase a house in Poland - Where / How to look. [10]

Hi there. I purchased my property 2 years ago now and with easy. No real problems. There are a few web sites that you can look at properties, without invoking an agent. I found them to be a waste of time and money. I will get back to you with the sites.

UK, Ireland / Advise needed on having a UK RHD car from the UK here in Poland [8]

HI Dave. I was in the same situation as you in that I had nice UK RHD cars and brought them over to PL. I just made sure that they had a new MOT before leaving the UK as you known this can't be done on-line, therefore only having the need to take it back to the UK once per year. I was never pilled, purely because I think that it is a minefield for the Police here and there would be nothing set in the system to deal with offences (Its just too hard).

I still retained my UK driving licence along with the appropriate UK documents that were register at a friends house back in the UK.

Never had a problem and don't think you will to.

Hope that has hellped.
