Genealogy / Kanarski and Schladinsky [3]
Hello! I've really gotten into looking into my family history lately, and there's a couple names that I'm looking for more information about, and I thought perhaps some of you may be able to help. First, I have some ancestors generations back, and their name is written down as "Schladinsky". I haven't been able to find anything on this name, and the ancestor in question with this name was born in, and died in Poland. Is it possible this is a horribly misspelled Polish name? Do you guys know any Polish names that are similar to this that it may be a misspelling of?
Another name I'm curious about is "Kanarski". I can't seem to find anything about this name, and I don't speak Polish, so that certainly doesn't help. Does this name mean anything? Could it be another misspelling?
