Love / How to find an English speaking boyfriend in Poland [110]

As to the rest of your post, I think you were a little bit harsh on the OP, I dont think she was saying she had anything in particular against all Polish men, but she just has a preference for others...they just happened to be native English speakers or Poles who were well travelled...

Yes, after having read it once again I may say I went a bit too far...but that is why I noted it is an impression I got...it does not have to be the truth...

...greenclover1 I do apologise...but just out of curiosity... living in PL and looking for foreigners because you prefer their company....with all due respect, but why did you move back to PL than?...I can understand if it was a must but if it was your free will than rather bad choice bearing in mind that you do not get along with most of the countrymen

Love / How to find an English speaking boyfriend in Poland [110]

Hi...I have seen some comments of southern and any 'race' conversation seems to be a kind of a road to nowhere (no offence)...but here I admit that you (greenclover1) discriminate Polish people...You say that you prefer non-Pole companionship...I bet you based your opinion on your own experience (as we all do) but the fact that you met a few idiots does not mean that the rest is alike (btw can someone tell me if it is correct to use 'alike' in this context, shouldn't be better to use 'the same'?) ...yes, we are not perfect but it is slightly unfair to say that you do not bother to speak to anybody who is not an English native speaker or a Polish globtrotter (at least this is the impression I got of you)…I believe that you can have a rally nice chat with a Polish/German/Indian/Blugarian/Japanese/French, etc guy in English although he is not a native speaker...ooo one more thing…love life associated with English…wow!

I wish I had such limited & defined love requirements and could stick to them with such determination…life would be much easier:)…OK, joking a bit, deep inside I hope there are some other features you expect the guy to have except cultural background and linguistic fluency.

PS. Guys, it is stated at the very beginning...'a native English speaker':)

Life / My own thoughts about life in Poland (have lived here for two years) [133]

Kaczynski was right to a degree with such a comment though

Would such situation have taken place if there were any/attractive (not saying lucrative as it'd be far too much to expect) offers in Poland?? - again Seanus is right ' Minimal prospects are better than no prospects at all'

An assumption that these people's work is irrelevant to their profession...of course a bunch of them certainly does have irrelevant job but let's not generalise ...ooooo and one more thing...majority of this 'some' - who are more likely to come back, works in such fields as building, construction, catering, etc (low qualified - please note, I do not mean to offend anybody ).... and I really doubt if the experience they gain abroad differs so much from Polish standards that it will immediately label them as unemployed...after all, brick laying is the same everywhere, isn't it?

PS. Apologies for any mistakes and brevity but I am learning and still a lot of place for improvement.

Let's be honest here - the best graduates don't need to leave Poland at all, because there's so much opportunity here.

Firstly, as Seanus pointed out, you don't have the same opportunity in every part of Poland and with all due respect, the way you perceive Polish reality is ''idyllic'. Secondly, in my opinion people emigrate due to many different reasons (yes, for many it is only an economical reason)....but as long as they are satisfied and happy with doing what they do and wherever they are it is their business and I cannot understand why it suddenly causes such a big public concern (let me add that it is a very negative / nicely said/ attitude towards emigrants)....yours 'the ones that can't hack it in Poland' is as shallow as famous 'Polish failures in GB' said by our previous president L.Kaczynski

Indians are totally unattractive.Blacks although some have beautiful bodies are unattractive as well.I think only very desperate whites can go for them.It is a pity some polish males have gone this path of despair(I suppose from what I hear about the UK).

I think that being attracted to somebody is a very individual matter and does not depend only on physical appearance...I believe there are more reasons why you feel attracted to somebody... having read your comment I could not refrain myself from saying that I really feel sorry for you if you do not see any other apsects except the 'bodily' one
