Study / A female Asian student considers studying in Poland [21]

ho gentan

yes, poles are racist, rude and wild. they used to eat foreigners - eg. i'm prefering asians, especially due to better diet compared to eg. - americans. its just like choosing between hamburger to sushi :)

would you prefer hamburger? don't think so...

have nice day :)

News / Roma flee home after threats in Silesia [28]

talking about gypsies... i saw how do the live in prague - eg. young (5 years old) gypsy boy spitting in the face of tiny chinese woman only because she prevented him from stealing in her's shop. sorry to say, but i don't like them - it's the matter of culture, not race.

Life / What is Poland B as opposed to Poland A and the otherway-round. [45]

poland A and B :) as a inhabitant of "A" i would love to hear how we are ahead, compared to those form "B" part. and yes - we have more industry, more motorways (at least southern poland), better salaries, etc. but i have family living in city of przemyśl and in the bieszczady region, and i can assure you, that they have better life. they aren't so poor as it seems from pure statistics - i think that there is a large-scale economical "grey zone" - which is invisible to official statistics - e.g. they are going to ukraine for cheap petrol, etc. in mine opinion much more poor than e.g. podkarpackie (south-eastern corner) is warmińsko-mazurskie (middle-north) which is poland "A"

i will give you an example how poland "B" from przemyśl, krosno and surroundings is poor:
eastern-scorpions.pl/index.php?e-s,24

so, division between "A" and "B" part has a strong historical background, but today it's not so simple to say witch part of poland belongs to A or B...

edit -> i almost forgot about possibility to exclude warszawa from mazowieckie, because mazowieckie compared to city of warszawa is just poor. warszawa raises the income statistics of whole region, which makes more difficult to obtain financial support from the union for the mazowickie region. ha. mazowiecke was always counted as "A" :)

UK, Ireland / The more subtle differences: Ireland/Britain v Poland [310]

I find it interesting, the way poles sit there and tell you how **** Poland is and when you agree with them on a point.

not me. i'm not complaining how **** poland is, and i'm not asking stupid question like "what do you think about poland". both things are wasting of time.

Life / Is parity the answer for Polish women? [262]

parity isn't good solution for no one. that's mine opinion - parity ,when talking about politics is just forcing people to do things which they don't want to do. and why come down only to gender? why shouldn't we create parity based on height, hair color, education, etc?

News / Palikot - too liberal/modern for Poland? [197]

He brought forward some very radical ideas.

too liberal? hahahaha... before he became so liberal he was owner of catholic paper - OZON. all what he is doing should be called performance and has nothing common with words like programme, opinion, idea. its just show for idiots.

Love / Are Polish and Slavic men perhaps a little bit insecure sometimes? [113]

Its honestly hilarious when they ask me if I want to move in with them with their childish habits. What baffles me is that men in their early twenties who are starting up businesses and moving up in their careers STILL PLAY Xbox

o. i'm still playing my ps3 :)

Study / American Muslim girl thinking to go to Medical school in Poland... [87]

hi,
i saw a lot of students from abroad (mean from asia and so called blacks) studying on silesian medical university, and they seems to be quite pleased - no bruising, without bandages on their heads, no broken noses, with no security guards...

to be honest - there might be a problem with your muslim clothes, but not with color of your skin.

reg,
stalin.

Travel / My (short) Poland experiences - bad luck? [142]

Its normal that British and Irish ppl say to Poles: "go back to Poland if you don't like the way of living here" and they see nothing wrong with that. So I see nothing wrong with saying to you what I have said. Double standars? Yes it seems you have double standards...

o nooo. he is calling this "tolerance" :)

Travel / My (short) Poland experiences - bad luck? [142]

Aesthetically, generally bleak soulless and depressing atmosphere.

try disneyland then:)

p.s1. if don't like poland, don't come here, that's easy.

p.s2. i hope that no one will compel you to come here again :)

p.s3. it's still amazing for me that some people from other countries aren't tolerant at all. they are expecting everything to be in line with their expectations, and when it comes to reality, they are very disappointed. such a children's behavior...

Life / My own thoughts about life in Poland (have lived here for two years) [133]

sorry pubben, i thought that you are next incarnation of sheila...

i agree with most of your observations - wages, prices, taxes. just like ziemkiewicz write - living in poland is sometimes like swimming in jelly - it's possible, but damn tiring...

the other thing i fully agree with you is stance of many, so called, educated poles from cities to poles from province areas. i'm sick of it. i live in biggest agglomeration in poland (it's not warsaw), have 2 university degrees, net wage quite above polish average (even if average is counted gross), and still can't understand why there are educated poles who curing their complexes in this way. you're not better, you educated idiots, can't you understand such a simple think? you have no right to such a behavior!

when talking albout anti-semitism and homophobia. i think that most poles might be slightly anti-semitists, rather in verbal level only. but... most of jews are anti-poles (i saw official israel video about preparing trip of students to german death camps in poland). both nations are full of ignorant when talking about each other. going to so called homophobia... sometimes i think that everything which isn't pro-homo is called homophobia...
