News / I suggest a new location on the map for Poland! [44]

Suppose some god knocks at your door and tells you that you are able to move Poland to another geographic location. Where should that be according to you?

Right next to the UK so I can easily drive to see my girl! :D

Language / The Polish accusative case [32]

okay szwed, be honest now, what website did you plagarize that grammar lesson from???

Even if he did (which I don't think he did!) he is helping me and others by trying to explain this in plain English!

I understand this! :)

SzwedwPolsce

You have mine and others praise for writing this! I am printing it tomorrow and sticking it on my bedroom wall in an attempt to memorise this!

I realise that this is extremely difficult and time consuming to write and I really appreciate the effort you are putting in!

DZIĘKUJĘ BARDZO SZWEDWPOLSCE!

Law / What is the quickest and cheapest way to send money to a bank account in Poland? [37]

gumishu

PlasticPole

My bank has demanded £40 pounds for this and also said the transfer can take up to 32 days. This is simply not good enough! I thought this would be straight forwards! I tried to sign up for some other services but they take up to 14 days to set up and I don't have this long :(

I keep looking!

Thanks for answering.

Law / What is the quickest and cheapest way to send money to a bank account in Poland? [37]

Hello,

I'd like to send some money to a Polish bank account from my bank account in the UK but I need to do this ASAP and I also need to do it as cheaply as possible!

Can anyone give me an indication of if it is possible and how much it may cost? I've read some other threads but some services take weeks to set up and I just don't have this much time!

Thanks in advance!

Lefty :)

Food / PIZZA & KETCHUP served only in Poland? [159]

Ketchup and Garlic sauce compliment a pizza adding something extra, condoms aren't quite the same thing..

Nevermind, you don't like it and I do, no problem.

Travel / Driving to Poland from England - any tips? [264]

excellent thanks dude

Buy a cheap ticket on P&O ferries it should cost around £30ish

Try and have at least 2 drivers since its around 2000km then you can take rests.

Buy a good GPS it will be invaluable however plan out your route on a map first and feed the info into a GPS before you leave.

All pretty basic stuff but anyways...
