UK, Ireland / Poland continues to milk Ireland dry. [129]

No, he left a plague of foreign leeches.

I hope that you did not waste them, and made them into a sandwich the next morning. In some countries this is considered a delicasy!

well blaming the foreign nationals is the biggest fecking cop out i have heard yet. I am convinced you fall into 1 of 3 categories

I have number 4" refigerator mother syndrome", where the child is devoid of any love and attention from birth onwards, causing sever mistrust and anxiety in adult life.

Blaming the government, is some times a cop out. It gives some demographics a carte blanche

Not this time its true.

It is the fault of certain Polish people who rape the country and abuse its generosity, yes.

The only people who are raping your country at the moment, are your own government, can't you see this?

Multi-culturalism is just another of those nice ideals that don't work in practice. Plus, it implies that the newcomers are all nice fellows who are willing to integrate and fit in into the new culture. Which is rarely the case.

I am not implying this at all, everyone has to work together to make it work, by isolating people simply does nothing, nothing at all. God have you ever travelled, how would you like if someone treat you like s...t just because of your nationality, or treat your kid as s...t just because he was a foreigner in another country. I would like to think if my child was in another country, people would take the humane approach whatever nationality he was.

He is not ripping you off, he is providing a service

No he is providing a service whilst proceeding in ripping you off. He changes his policies without any form of advertisement, scales are rigged at the airport, and any complaints you have to use the premium line of £1 per minute, that's not ripping you off?

Anyone out there don't use this airline, it is cheaper in the long run to use another budget airline, because, when Ryanair add on all the extras it is really no cheaper at all, and at least you avoid all the hasstle at the airport when you want to start your long earned holiday.

Did somebody put a gun to your head and make you fly with them?

No like everybody else who choose to fly with this bandit airline, we are short of cash and yes Mr O'leary milks this to the end, he is the one who should have the gun pressed to his head. His underhand practices are disgraceful to any law-abiding citizen.

Brings it home to you dosen't it and Irishman ripping off his own!

Why?

Why? because without it we would stiil be living in caves,We all learn from each other, its called advancement. If you are going to give some garbage reply, without any content or substinance, please don't reply. Besides why don't you wage an all out war on your politicians, those are the ones that are "raping" your contry, far more that immigrants.

Oh and whilst we are on the subject of rip-off merchants, your very own "flagship" Ryanair are doing a pretty good job of the modern day piracy!

Having said that, who is to blame for this except the Irish government? Other EU countries such as Germany put the EU directives on the free movement of labor on hold, because they were expecting Poles to move in in their millions. And that was of course not going to work

Also other EU contries as well. I am all for multi-culuralism, however, it has to be controlled, as without control it benefits no-one and only leads to unrest and resentment. However the British government and their side-kicks are only interested in how much they can make out of expenses, rob the taxpayer blind before the next general election.

Just look at the banking scandal and the bonuses they receive. Can you imagine a plumber going to do a job, totally f....s it up and the client saying oh well the bill was supposed to be £600 but here is £l000, not your fault. Not dissimilar to the Head of Hbos, totally F.....g up and then being given a large pension. Dosn't really matter how may plebs have lost their money, it was not his fault. Noone is accountable anymore for their actions.

I bet the CO of HBos would not have been so thoughtless and risk-taking with his own money, infact he comes out "smelling of roses".

Study / Is Poland a good place to study for Black Africans? [90]

Id be a part time taxi driver too if situations demanded it,

Nay I'm not really a taxi driver, brain surgeon actually, just do the the taxi driving to get a bit of cash, and love the social interaction.

However, on a much serious note. O levels were much harder than the GCSE level they do today. I really believe that. Just look how many people go to university today in comparison to my days in the 80's of course! It is alot easier , they even allow kids to do modules before the actual exam , thus reducing he stress of the actual exam.

So youre whole opion is based on brain dead taxi driver banter

I am taxi driver in uk, and deeply offended. I have two o levels surely that makes me clever, even delboys nephew , in only "fools and horses" had 3 o levels, as he was always proud to pronounce.

I could have this wrong but i am pretty sure someone else was talking about the Drunkarnia and said it had been bought over and changed.
They also loved it there, I hope I am wrong for your sake.

No this is the one, the one and only.I loved this place. It was taken over and it did change.

There are loads of bars there now, I try to a pub crawl but I can never remember where I have been and I always end up in Alchemia ha ha ha.

I think that it must be the atmosphere in Alchemia that makes it so great, and downstairs is another venue where groups play. I am coming to Krakow in May and going back to the student pub Drukarnia , just for "old times sake of course". Krakow is a fantastic place for those who appreciate it. I just loved living there and many people are still in my heart, and always will be, even though I don't see them.

I always go to "Alchemia

I just love that place , infact I just love Kaszmierz. I have to say I have come out of what was the "Old Drukarnia", a few doors along from Alchemia at 4 in the morning, and daylight had appeared, a beautiful sight. Did you ever visit the Drukarnia., I was the only British person there I think, had some wonderful conversations, met some great polish people . It was a great time, but I believe it has changed considerably now.

UK, Ireland / Immigration and Identity: how to keep Polish identity when living in UK. [30]

And you seem to think you know me...which is quite untrue

You openly stated in one of your posts, and I quote "I have never met a polish professional", so how do you expect me to believe what you write about polish professionals, if you have never met one, seems a bit contradictory to me.

Whatever, i dont know any professionals that want to spend the rest of their lives here

Very true, you have never met any professional polish or non-polish persons so why do you profess that they would not want to spend the rest of their lives here. You make it all up as you go along, or whoever upsets you on the said day.
