Sorry to play Necromancer here and resurrect a dead thread but Pidgin also supports GG. You're going to have to google it I've only just got here, Miranda IM might be good as well.

I'm afraid you'll have to goggle it as I can't post links being a noob and all...

I think you have to download it from poland to create an account the web based portal expects you to already have a GG number and doesn't appear to have an option to create a new account.
