Off-Topic / PF - The Omnibus Edition [1502]

Hmmmm, who in an act of unbridled passion let his true feeling for the lovely Justysia slip despite her having told the PF of her engagement to a 6’ 5” Scotsman. In a masterly put down display of heart breaking Hmmm was sent packing. So that’s Supermodels 1 Super Heroes 0.

UK, Ireland / What do you hate about England and English people? [142]

So if i understand right, Jacek, what you hate about English people (that is the topic) is that ONE of them wants an Xmas party to be organised in January and that some businesses here only hire people who are not white...? and that politicians are not interested in what people want, where Daisy and Lukasz pointed out that politicians are mostly self centered greedy pigs anyway. I reckon you should rename the topic of your thread to 'I feel like having a rant today' ;)

but there would be some ridiculous reason why they should be topless

maybe when theyre topless theyre more prepared to rescue a client whos fallen in a fish tank and is drowning, without getting their t-shirt wet. hows that? ;)

BTW - the clerks were maybe male ;)

if they were male, and clerks in a tropical fish store AND had to be topless, there should be a law for them to be buff, too.

Hmm, you could have a point ;)

or actually, if that law was not only for tropical fish store clerks, but all male clerks, to be topless AND buff, i think id love shopping even more....... :D

i suppose that maybe foreign men seem more 'exotic' and interesting, and the curious creatures that we are, we want to see what its like being with somebody from a different country/culture. you can learn so much, and teach them a lot about yourself and your customs, too.

Love / Is Indian/Polish relationship possible? [370]

Yeah yeah, Polish girls are just after money. And British girls are just after sex? ha ha. The racism in UK is not Polish peoples' fault, its YOUR fault because you are racist. Dont say "we", speak for yourself you coward. Rant as much as you like, it wont make your issues go away so maybe try live with them?

UK, Ireland / A collection of noimmigration's threads or "STAY AWAY from BRITAIN" [978]

there is a line between being concerned about your country and considering the country your private property where no dirty immigrant has the right to stand their foot. its very sad and shallow. you cant do anything about immigrants - those who are here legally or not. get a few more trolls and go on a crusade in UK or something ha ha

Love / IMPORTANT NOTE FOR POLISH GIRLS (watch out for hypocrites) [52]

everybody knows that Pakistanis want to marry just about any EU national to get their passport/visa. its not about Polish women being racist, its justabout being careful. thats why they're so slimey and over-the-top with compliments, because they think if they are nice to a woman she will immediately fall in lovewith them, and if they ask her to marry them she will say yes straight away. its just like all them Turkish waiters targeting British grannies holidaying in Turkey. its pretty nasty, because they will go as far as having sex with them... then they get married quick, collect some money from them for a flight to UK and disappear. so im sorry all you Turkish/Pakistani don juans, but do not expect love in Poland because we know what you really want! and i must say its true they sweat, had to sit next next to one for 15 minutes and i thought i'd suffocate.

be sure I lost my mind, if I married anyone! haha

whos that guy you're frolicking with on your avatar then, love? your bro? ;D

Language / in Polish slang, what is the difference between Siema and Siemka? [64]

One of my polish friends said 'siemka' is diminutive or something

yes siemka is a dimunitive of siema. it makes it sound more 'cute'. its like my name Justyna, if you say Justynka it is a nicer way of saying it. just like calling a guy called George Georgie. Understand? lol

Language / in Polish slang, what is the difference between Siema and Siemka? [64]

I always thought dimunitive meant smaller/small

in Polish dimunitive is "zdrobnienie". that comes from "drobny" which means "tiny". the cause of a dimunitive is not to make a word shorter, but to describe something "tiny", which usually results in adding to words. dimunitives will often have extra endings "stuck" to them, such as: -ka, -sia, -czka, -ek, -siek. Im gonna come back to my name again, im 22 and most people will call me Justyna or panna Justyna (miss Justyna) because im a grown up. Justynka is what people would call a Justyna who's for example 5 yeras old, because its a "tiny" Justyna. Whats "tiny" is often "cute" too (no rude comments here :P), so when it comes to siema and siemka or siemanko, the longer the version the "cuter" it is. And no it doesnt matter how big is the person you are about to say it to. I hope this helps.

Is it just a conglomeration of the words: siÄ™ + ma(sz) + no?
It's just the 'no' I'm wondering about really.

yes you are right osiol. i wouldnt worry too much about "no", it coulve been any other couple of letters and it wouldnt make any difference to the actual meaning of the word. its like saying "hey" and "heya", the extra "a" does nothing to "hey". its a dimunitive.
