yep go with your instincts and if it doesnt work out regardless of age than its wasnt right -if you care too much about what everyone else thinks more than what you think then maybe its not right. but i do understand family pressure and conformimg to expectation is not easy to stand up to. but if you are both united it will overcome

Genealogy / Are Polish birth records available on the Internet? [56]

the polish are a secreative lot wont give anything away-trust no-one i was brought up with this from my polish father and i must say this still seems to be the case everything is a secret-simple things such as do you drink tea or coffee-the reply is maybe tak maybe nie-keep people guessing. my polish boyfriend is like this-he say big problem when he runs out of milk-now i find this funny-but most times i find it frustrating because i dont know whats true or not-so is this the reason we can find nothing out aboput poland and polish people-got there in the end!!!

Food / Fresh seafood in Gdansk [3]

i asked my polish tutor about this. slawek loves fish , so as a treat i took him to a well know seafood restaurant in newcastle order a sreaood platter he almost was sick-just looking at the prawns, etc-ate the sauce!!!! martamy polish tutor said people in poland are not use to seafood. The Baltic sea too salty??

Law / Driving in Poland on a foreign license [45]

i have seen a credit card size so called "international driving license" like the ones we have in the uk. it was pink had the international * symbol and where it says uk it said eu.

it had a photo ,the name and date of birth of the polish owner but not the adress- my uk one has my adress on it .

so is this a leagl-card or a scam? it says interantional on it
