Study / PhD open position decision wait time in Poland [2]

Hi all,

Has anybody applied to open PhD position in Poland? I had applied in Uni. Gdansk and got until second (final) round of interview. My professor said it will take some time until he gives me decision and the reason he mentioned was the absence of people necessary to sign off on certain documents due to holiday and so on. He even said, in any case, I will have to wait a bit longer for the final decision. Its been about 3 weeks since I last heard from him. Now, since I don't know how these things work in Polish academia, I am just confused whether I should wait or send him follow up email one more time.

Anybody been through similar situation, hoping for your thoughts!!
