History / Poland in WWI [38]

The Poles seem to have always taken a liking to the French.

Life / Should I expect racism as a 'black' woman in Poland [149]

I assume the younger ones would be more interested than the adults. Then again, it can be vica versa. Again, this is an assumption. My guess is if you go to a small town, they'd be more curious than anything like it seems to be in the US. Poland is really different in culture though, too. The manners of people and way of life. If Germany is accepting like they are now due to military bases, I wouldn't worry about Poland.

Love / Polish boyfriend and swearing [15]

Sounds like a respectable guy. Yes, this is a normal custom. This would be an "old custom," in the US.

He may be different, but that's not bad. It sounds like he wants to make a good impression and highly respects you. Which, is a sign of love.

No. It shouldn't make a difference. It sounds like he cares, especially if he goes out of his way to hush them or correct them.

Maybe. But the fact that he shuts his friends up shows he cares. I know a lot of guys who swear and couldn't care less what their women feel which bothers me. If he's considerate, he cares.

He has manners. I like this guy's way. Hard to find Americans with manners these days.

UK, Ireland / Poles - go home make your country better [40]

I'm sure those Poles would gladly leave. Please be more open minded. Somebody has to do the jobs. :) No hard feelings from me.
