Hi,
I'm Italian, 39 years old, Ph.D., can speak Italian, English and Polish I got an offer as Senior Developer (Certified Microsoft Professional in C#) in an important bank for 15000zl gross. With current taxation it's 11200zl netto.

I think it's a pretty high salary considering the cost of life in Poland, my Polish girlfriend as a dentist earns roughly half of that.

In facts I'm from Italy and 13th salary in my country is pretty standard for most companies, and in banks even 14th is not uncommon. I think that is more or less in line with a valuable bonus scheme depending on performance.

My girlfriend lives in Saska Kępa and is happy about the neighbourhood. The area is decently central and peaceful with the exception of the blocks facing on Al. Stanów Zjednoczonych. Unfortunately untill the bridge on Wisła is back open you might have problems getting to the center during peak hours by car due to the traffic jams on the other bridges.
