Genealogy / Help in finding ancestry - Hermanowski/Czajkowski [3]
My grandmother- Sophie's (Zofia) maiden name was Czajkowski. Her father was John--Jan, born 1855 in Poland. Her mother was Agnes Pisarek born 1858 in Poland. Agnes died in 1899 and John married Barbara but I don't know her maiden name. There was 10-11 siblings. I don't know when they married or came to the US but they settled in Shawano WI. They are buried there and that's how I know the birth years. I'm trying to find who John's parents were and any more ancestors I can find on my mother's side. I am only guessing John's parents. He did have a brother Franciszek b1853, but I'm not sure who their parents were. I've only come up with the name Franciszek Czajkowski and Franciszka Wichrowska. But I don't know for sure. For Agnes, I know her parents were Franciszek and Josephine Pisarek. I don't know Josephine's maiden name. I would also like to know any of their parents etc.
My mother's father was Jacob--Jakub? Wysocki --I have different info of where he was born. I have Aug 9 1891 in Russia, Poland and Luthuania. I only know he had a brother named Filip, a year or two older. They came to the US together, to Chicago, IL. I would like to find out who their parents, grandparents and siblings are. I was told Jacob was Polish. Some Census said he was Jewish.
