Love / Are women from Poland scared of good looking guys? [48]

have you considered that most of the time is not you appearance but other factors what people judge of you?
i am an average spanish girl, yet lots of men approach me at nightclubs where there are LOTS of girls prettier than me.
i am just a lot easier to get along than a polish girl. spanish people are a lot nicer in general than in ie, nordic countries.

try to be nice and specially, become a BETTER person first. you expect sex on a first date, which in poland is not and easy thing to find. if not, masturbate? lol

Classifieds / Morrissey walks off stage in Warsaw [7]

i'm a fan of the guy and would have been crying if the concert had to be cancelled due to and idiot's shout. and also, the tickets are EXPENSIVE. in spain they were 60€ per person. i don't know how much they are in Poland.

Love / How many Polish girls are married to foreigners? / How many Polish boys to foreign girls? [104]

I am in a relationship (However i don't know for how long since i'll leave the country in maybe two years and i don't see myself living in poland) with a medicine student in poland. i'm older than him (4 years, don't think i'm a pedo). i'm a nurse student myself.

i think this topic is interesting in every country .how many spanish people are marrying to foreigners? it is a question i make to myself sometimes too. they are getting married to lots of cubans and rumanians. you can make your own conclussions, 90% of rumanian girls i know are married to men 20 years older and are uneducated in most of cases. which is just sad. i don't care about your opinion about housing, i'm spanish and i cook better than most of you here and that doesn't mean its my purpose in life you know? and cubans using marriage to escape their country is sad too. i suppose marriage is a good way to assure a good living in a poor country.

And i'm not implying by any means that all marriages or relationships have some economical purpose. I am not giving my money to my guy at least, and I share an equal relationship. that is something to be proud nowadays i see.

Life / Racism & study with part time jobs in Warsaw ? [53]

I am studying at Poland atm with and Erasmus scholarship and believe me the level of studies here it is LOW in general. stay at your country and study there, there are probably better universities at India or choose a better country (UK, Germany, etc) with a better level. Also you'll need Polish and it is not a language you'll learn in one or two years. I have a C1 of English and French and I speak my native Spanish yet I am struggling so much at learning Polish. And also, you're not getting hired at any job unless you have a good level of Polish which will take time.

About racism I believe if you are cautious you won't feel racism in general. Some Spaniards are very tan and polish seem to love it and think of it as very attractive.

Work / British-trained journalist in Poland - should i stay or should i go now? What are the life options here? [7]

Edited.. Please note, the language of this forum is English, thanks.

I am spanish too and an erasmus this year. Without polish it is useless to search for an educated job in this country. Try to study polish first here until you have a C1 at least since you must be working in a field that requires to be fluent in it. If not, try to teach Spanish at first as a job to get some easy money and then search for something in your field.

I am a nurse but the pay is so low here i have even't think of coming to live here. Making a decent living here is difficult. Try to compare wages, maybe Brussels has a lot more to offer than you think!!

Work / Internships in Warsaw for non-Polish speakers? Area of logistics / supply chain management preferably [8]

I don't know how it is in the UK but in Spain we have our uni to do this. We have several countries to choose from and to the end of our degree we can chose where to make our internship if we want to make it abroad. The uni then sends our academic report and CV and then the company decides if they take the person. Maybe try to talk to somebody in your uni? Making this by yourself sounds risky and difficult.

Life / Racism & study with part time jobs in Warsaw ? [53]

I was referring to the Polish education, at least the one received by nurses and physiotherapists. it is incredibly low, by Spanish standards, however the same happens with the UK or France. i am a lot more prepared than my Polish counterparts.
