News / Professor Zygmund Bauman, Commie-Jew, shouted down [79]

jon357 wrote - "A very distinguished academic."
Apparently a very talented person.
" from 1945 to 1953 Bauman held a similar function in the Internal Security Corps (KBW), a military unit formed to combat Ukrainian nationalist insurgents and part of the remnants of the Polish Home Army"

News / Professor Zygmund Bauman, Commie-Jew, shouted down [79]

jon357 wrote - "For many. One of the most respected authorities worldwide in his academic field."
Would his academic achievements debar his responsibility even for one murder.
delphiandomine wrote - "How many elderly people in Poland don't have some skeletons in their closets"
I have no proclivity to snoop on elderly people.
Although it has nothing to do with dispute here I'm an inquisitive person, hence my question - how many?

News / Professor Zygmund Bauman, Commie-Jew, shouted down [79]

jon357 wrote - "Do you believe he's a murderer?"
His job in the Internal Security Corps and his achievements there would very much indicate that.
jon357 wrote - "And do you have a good lawyer?"
Are you looking for one?

News / Professor Zygmund Bauman, Commie-Jew, shouted down [79]

jon357 wrote - "Ironic then that you're libelling and repeating unproven slurs about a 96 year old retired professor and highly respected author of 57 books."

I'm only asking questions about his murky past. Is that a crime? Should I have be awed by a number of books he wrote?

News / Restoring the Port of Elbląg? [113]

X - wrote "More useful to develop Świnoujscie which has proximity to Berlin as a huge plus."
I see the Nord Stream gas pipeline between Russia and Germany as a main obstacle to that proposal.I understand that bigger ships would experience some difficulties accessing Polish harbor.

Although Polish Government expressed assurances:
"Poland launches measures to deepen the harbor entries in Świnoujście and Szczecin, the German side would launch corresponding measures to clear away any impediments," Tusk said, stressing that the Polish population felt this was an important statement"

Would somebody be kind enough to update me on the progress of those measures?

jon357 - wrote "Zero. Nada. An innocent man"
Possible but it is equally possible they haven't found any evidence against him.
Not to be confused with guilelessness.

News / Restoring the Port of Elbląg? [113]

Wouldn't it be possible to use the harbor for limited commercial ventures confined only to the Baltic sea. Along the lines north south, east west?

delphiandomine wrote "The problem is deciding on where to draw the line."
No, the problem lies in the lack of political volition.

delphiandomine wrote "Which reflects the general population"
I'm not dealing in guesses. There is no political will in Poland to investigate crimes and trespasses of the totalitarian state.Period.

Which reflects the will of the people.

Your conclusion.

Were the people interested in such a thing, they would vote accordingly.

Your guess.

Nile, please use the quote function. Thank you.

Thank you.

Travel / Just visited Poland - here is my random rant [154]

And what this bad training and bad management stems from?

Its stems from a fact that they can get away with such behavior, and there is no law protecting customer rights.

Travel / Just visited Poland - here is my random rant [154]

Recession is good it sends people back to basic

If recession means GDP, investment spending, employment, household income and inflation fall while bankruptcies and the unemployment rate rise Poland is currently in recession.
Good news brace yourself for another recession - "Bond giant Pimco believes there is a 60% chance of another global recession in the next few years."

Poland can't live off foreign language teachers she needs to create a business climate to attract more 'entrepreneurs, more tax revenues can be created than relying on EU handouts and multinationals

Polish government do not seem to be well versed in economic policy.
The only economic tool they are familiar with is tax.

Life / Fr. John Bashobora National stadium Warszawa (Warsaw) [81]

Read and understand a post before trying to reply to it.

Wow! You gave me a chuckle. Please read your previous post once more with understanding this time.
Humanity - human beings collectively.
Individual a single human being , as distinguished from a group.
Humanity is all of us together and individually? You phrase sounds good but is meaningless.

. As a society we a made up of individuals;

Indeed but it doesn't change a fact that you can be concerned about humanity but at the same time do not like or respect people as individuals.

News / Poland's John Paul the Great canonisation this year [177]

You should try and imagine yourself in that predicament with possibly the next rapist growing inside you; but its impossible.

I think that posters here relay too much on their imagination not on facts and reality.
John Paul will be a saint for the Roman Catholic Church and all Catholics. "In the Church, the title of Saint refers to a person who has been officially recognized by the Catholic Church, and is therefore believed to be in Heaven."

If you disagree and you are a Catholics that is your problem, nobody force you to believe it to be true.
If you are not a Catholic that issue do not concern you at all.
You should ask yourself what are you doing here? Spewing Virol and hate doesn't make a good person out of you.
