Due to Britain being so multicultural it is very hard to discriminate against groups that should be minorities as they have become the majority, employment laws set by the government doesn't help either as companies must employ a certain amount of foreign nationals to meet their employment quota and any discrimination in the workplace could cost you your job, it is the same in schools you cannot discriminate against anyone without adverse sanctions.

Political correctness in England is beyond a joke and I can't wait to leave.
Foreign nationals have more rights than those England born especially Muslims, as just last week a Muslim male got away with having sex with a 13 year old girl because is religion teaches that women are worthless and there is no age of consent even though brittish law is very clear on the fact that it is illegal to have sex with someone under the age of consent (someone under16) he still walked out of a brittish court a free man..

I am sort of in the same position as you I am pregnant by my polish partner and I am moving to Poland to live with his family after the baby is born, all I know of the polish culture is drinking bear, vodka parties, bowling and eating lol also his family do not speak English and my polish is very basic

You may say its a myth however if a large company is see to only employ English nationals questions will be asked why. It is however illegal not to employ a person purely because they are not an English national

That's really horrible that you have such an unwelcoming family, I spent a month in Poland last year and went a few weeks ago, my partners family were so welcoming towards me and even before we found out I was pregnant they told me to stay and not go home now they are over joyed that we are having a baby. My partner and I only met last July too. I'm moving to live with his family in October and they have been nothing but welcoming to me and his mum goes out of her way to cook me food that I'll eat as I'm very fussy and have food allergies.

Due in July. I'm moving to eastern Poland abut 120km from warsaw into a small village where everyone is very nice, his family are social drinkers and are very family orientated which I really like :)

Iive moved to Poland from England and I have NC+ tv which costs about 100zł a month all nearly all the chanels can be set to english and has a few BBC channels as well as discovery

learning Polish is the most daunting thing I have ever done, but moved to Poland with my partner and son last month, Ive never even thought of learning another language but where I live hardly anyone can speek english so i have to learn and i would estimate that i have learnt 100 words in the last 4 weeks with good pronounciation and can count to 100, it feels like i will never be able to have a full conversation but i look at it like my partner learnt english so i can learn Polish. I found that in some ways its a little simpiler than the english language but on the other end of the scale the is sometimes a hell of a lot harder there is many polish words for one english word like dobre, dobrzre, dobry.... and picking the right one to use in the right situation is i find a nightmare, same with saying hello

It will be rewarding once I get there, but right now it's a little scary especially when I try to speak polish to my family I tend to mumble I case I get it wrong, you're right saying goodbye is just as difficult as hello lol

Yep I do find polish (European) cheese very bland, at the moment lidl have a mature cheddar in which I've stocked up on however it is more like a mild cheddar. If you have an inter marche near you you might want to try it we get the leaflets through our door and they have a good range of cheese don't know what they are like though .

I do find it odd though that polish cheese is so tasteless as all other polish food is full of flavour

20 years and not learnt polish how do you work? I think it's very important to speak the language of the country you live in, and how can you be here for 20 years and not know the basics? You make English people look ignorant

Luckily my mother in law doesn't tend to used store brought flavourings , didn't know they were that bad though my partner does tend to use vegeta when we are in England will have to have alook at the packaging eek

I prefer Gorgonzola to most other blues cheeses other than Stilton, and cheddar is the first cheese I came up with because it is my favourite cheese and I don't mean mass produced cheddar, original cheddar made in cheddar , Somerset. I personally don't tend to like cheeses that have very strong smells but am very fond of Parmigiano-Reggiano , le roule, Jarlsberg, Danish blue to name a few European cheeses I enjoy

I don't think reading speed is factored into it either, when I'm in England I have the English subtitles on as it's a little easier for my partner to follow the film (I have no idea how) but that is mostly word for word

Lidl is best for good cheese and wine around Christmas time, it's the same in England they get all the good stuff in. Haven't seen polish version of Parmigiano-Reggiano but do get the real thing in kaufland, I did once buy a grated hard cheese from Carrefour once and all it said on the packet was 'pasta cheese' it was cheap and absolutely awful. 'Polish mass produced urine-like larger' is soooo much better than English mass produced urine-like larger :) also can't fault polish food except for cheese as prefer a lot of polish food to English food especially vegetables my mother in law grows in the garden and the eggs our chickens lay (which we keep in the fridge) are far better tasting than anything I used to buy in England and I'm very fond of pierogi (homemade) too :)

Wizz gives you automatic priority boarding with an infant, I've flown 5 times with wizz with my little one and you can sit where you like, you do pay extra for your child which is a little unfair as they don't get their own seat so you deserve priority boarding, wizz does give the best baggage Allowence though. One problem is that if you're traveling on your own with your little one it's extream lay difficult wi a pram as the airline and airport staff offer no help with stairs and things
