Genealogy / I am doing research on Great Grandfather, Simon Terpiloski, town Wysoky? [6]

I am doing ancestry research on my Great Grandfather, Simon Terpiloski. I found him arriving through Ellis Island and his name was spelled Terpulowsky and his last residence was listed as Wysoky, Is that in Poland or Russia? He arrived without his family in 1903 in New York,on the Ryndam, from Rotterdam/Holland. His family was sent for 3 years later according to Ellis Island records.I cannot seem to locate a Wysocky anywhere. Is is possible that Ellis Island authorities mispelled and it is not the correct spelling. Unfortunately my great grandfather emigrated back to Lithuania, I found the last info on him leaving Boston for liverpool and then onto Lithuania in 1926, he abandoned the family here according to my late grandmother and left 4 children. The family never spoke of him and hated him for leaving his wife and 4 children in Boston. No pictures or other info just a record of the ship leaving and the date. I have also found that Terpiloski is spelled so many different ways. My Great grandfather was 54 when he left the family. So again my question is the spelling and location of Wysoky.

Thanks for any help
