Genealogy / Information about the village Kozice, Trojanow Garwolina [9]

Could someone please help, my father whose name was Boleslaw Kowalczyk was born/baptised in the village Kozice, Trojanow, Garwolina, I have not been able to find out anything about this village. We are visiting Poland in August of this year and I would like a little information about the village and if anyone would know of the Kowalczyk family from that village, my granfathers name was Kazimierz and his wife was Marijana, I believe they were two daughters Ewa and Rosia and my father.

Is there still a church that would have been there in the 1920's. Any information would be much appreciated.

Thank you for the information,

I would like to get a picture of Kozice today, is it a very small village, the population, is it easy to find out information if I should go there, particularly about family who lived there, are the very old farmhouses still there or have they been rebuilt.

These are the sorts of things I would like to know. Thks.

Food / I've never cooked or eaten any polish dish before. [24]

Polish food looks simple but take plenty of time to prepare. If you can buy frozen, best bet and fool proof. For pierogi just fry up some bacon and onion in butter and sprinkle over. "To die for".

Good Luck!!
