I realized this recently by meeting Polish who live outside their land, but when I visited Poland, I thought you were the same as russians over here in Tallinn .... I really thought you were better than russians, but you always try be something else. eg. two people I talked to telling me they town in German version when it was OStpreussen. Its not German no more. there many others I could keep on going for a day writing about examples.

SO, why this inferiorkomplex?

Damn, I understand every other country out there might b e embarassad of some funny tradition or rituals (it is important to them, but might look funny to others, same in Estonia we have some weird things) - and SAME Estonia and Latvia weere both under communism, so was the czech, slovak and pothers!@!!

OMFG... amalgam fillings , my grandmother was having that **** done during the USSR years (late 60's-70s) - the thing with amalgam is that eventually it expands and leads to the tooth breaking.

as for dentist prices, the best thing is to go to a small town , it costs 50zl in Wielkopolska. (and that was two fillings in one session)

people tend to think that by going to a village of 3000 or less inhabitants and the building looks nasty that the dentist must be crap and nasty tooo, not the case.

In the towns(cities) is where the Dentists Aren't THICK, and THEY can TELL you CAN AFFORD IT (just like count a price of a PKP ticket from Poznan to Warszawa ....)

so my best advice, if you have tooth problems - ie. need a filling. Go out to the country, go to one town, in case the dentist asks where u from(all country people are nosy everywhere) say you from the larger town in the Powiat in which town you went to- the dentist is not bound to know you.

SO THERE....... I wouldnt pay more than 60zl per tooth.
getting a Bridge done, or an Implant - now this is where the country dentist will not help you , because they have to order their thing from the technician which comes to more - but still can save money if you are willing to going out to the countryside!

^^^^^^ Nikolaus Kopernikus had as much to do with being a Polish as Obama with Adolf Hitler.

I don't want to argue much , but just look at the German east provinces that where robbed in 1945 , youre still using the same infrastructure. Look at what once was Breslau(Wroclaw) the city does not only comprise of the City square(IE. renovating the city square, but the rest looks like stalingrad in WW2.

It's just the way it is. Not all can be winners.
With some people(s) it just shows how sick n jealous they are, hating on other's due to their accomplishments.

you know why Poland is getting more money in, one of the reasons is that because of europol controlling the ports in the Netherlands and some other West European nations who got alot of money by being distribution hubs for cocaine coming in from the Americas.

There is alot more of this drug activity in Poland, not to mention Poland becoming the leading producer of synthetic drugs , again due to busts in the Netherlands.

This dirty money goes into legal business, government business too.

so apart from Poland producing around half of the synthetic drugs for the illicit market, and exporting worldwide, it is also serving the drug markets as a major trans-shipment/distribution centre for both cocaine and heroin coming thru the northern route from Russia.

In my opinion there will be much more laws against drugs, and much more police. The EU knows its fighting a lost battle, but nevertheless it needs to do something , especially so that this activity does not get out of hand by Poland's streets getting flooded with the product which is being produced or transported thru it.

The worst thing is that sometimes the English speaker is just trying to be friendly, because that how it goes in English; they tease themselves if they are from the North, or even a particular town ; say Hull, or the unfriendliness between people of Liverpool and Manchester.

It can be confusing though, but really people are too touchy about this Polak thing, the worsest thing is when people ask you if you are Jewish , especially if they already know from you that you are Polish.

People should Really take into account the TIMES these occurances took place, say for example Nietzsche, 'Poland' did not exist then, him saying that he is a Polish nobleman, might just be referring to the German Pioneer settlers of the East.
