Life / You are Polish if... [433]

When you start complaining about the barometric pressure - you've really got to consider citizenship.

Hi! I am a little bit new to board games and would like to find others who would like to meet from time to time to play.

I am interested in playing just about anything. I most enjoy playing Puerto Rico and Stone Age, I am just learning Caylus and think it's great! I like light games too!

I can speak Polish, but am far from perfect! So it's hard for me to explain games in Polish, but not too hard to understand explanations.

If you already have a group and just need another guy sometimes, or you think that it might be fun to start one, drop me a line!

Thanks.
Just to be clear - I'm not interested in role-playing games. I don't have enough free time for that.
Both Polish and English are welcome languages! :)

Most people have played Monopoly and Risk. Those are board games. Unfortunately, they aren't much fun. They both have elimination and they involve far too much luck (especially Monopoly) and they tend to be really boring.

The games have been superseded by so-called euro-games. Like "The Settlers of Catan", "Carcassonne", "Small World", "Power Grid", "Ticket to Ride", "Alhambra" and the list goes on and on.

A good shop in Wrocław can be found on the Internet at: planszoweczka.pl

So, that's it. Does anyone know anyone that could help me out?

Thanks for taking the time to answer.
I found a great site with tons of info:

I guess Polish is a must, but it will be a good way to learn something new.
