Love / Polish boyfriend coming to visit [52]

hi i am a filipina and i have a polish bf. he will be coming here in manila (first time to see each other personally)

we have know each other for 2 years already. he was introduced to me by a common frend and is now on a relationship by 6 months.

since he is coming in feb i dont know what to do or what to say to him upon picking him up at the airport.

is it ok if i can kiss him upon seeing each other?
what food can i prepare for him that for sure poles like him will like?

And remember, you might be convinced that you are in love, but the
final test is the physical attraction when you meet in person - it's important to be yourself

that is exactly what i am afraid of...loving him here but then the physical attraction when we meet wont be there. it always run through my mind all the time. although he always tell me that we should take things slow, i tried but my feelings doesnt obey it.

maybe you can also serve some vegetables salad. I also cooked pancit and kare-kare and other philippine foods to my husband and he likes it. My husband loves philippine food but he dont want to try balut and exotic foods hahaha. Good luck to your BF as he see balut ^^

thanks again for your suggestions. i think i will cook adobo since i have mentioned it to him before.

I believe that Poland and the Philippines both share a love for the family life - it is an integral part of both cultures. You should show him how friendly and kind the locals are to each other and to people they don't know and I think that'll make him feel at home.

may i asked when did he said that he like you as gf? how long takes?
Im having the same situation and we're talking now for almost 7 months.

hi sleeping beauty well we knew each other for 2 years and we are just in a relationship for 7months now. he told me he liked me when we turned a year of knowing each other. quite a long time, really hehehe because he said he wants to take things slowly in which i agree. he is coming on the 17th and i hope it will turn out the best.
