"Is Poland a safe country for people of color?"
Im living in Poland since I was born, by now I can only tell that we are not as much xenophobic as most of ppl is thinkin.

Of course in each country u can find some violent, xenophobical, retard ... that may pose some threat, but now in most of Poland those are very rare scenes.

Dregs of society rarely comes out before sundown so don't worry ppl.

We are not speaking of safety in Russia, bsides that's a bad example.

Near my town in Lublin (wich is not considered very safe for ppl of color by most of my neighborhood) i know asiatic couple that lives there since 2001 r. and I have never heard from them complaining about any racist behaviors from poles... oh beside bad "grramma-like" jokes (but in most situations like that they start to laugh too).

If you are xenophobic yourself, then don't find it strange that u will attract other xenophobical ppl and find racist behaviors everywhere.
