Real Estate / Is there a Real Estate bubble in Krakow? [60]

As someone living in Ireland and seen what happened here, i find its hilarious that people in Poland think that their property is not in a gigantic bubble. Denial Denial Denial. For 200,000 zloty i would expect a very nice 3 BEDROOM apartment in a big city. The property prices and rent in Poland and Czech etc are criminal, and will explode with an ounce of justice. Like here in Ireland there will be plenty of paid clowns defending the criminality until the last minute.

Real Estate / How do you comment on "Poland real estate analysis" of the biggest property site [24]

Is There anywhere else(country) in Europe or the world were property is so expensive in relation to the wages that the natives earn. Are the Polish the most ripped off people this side of mars?? Buying a normal house in Poland would be like be buying a house here in Ireland for a million Euros.

USA, Canada / Moving back from Canada to Poland, yes or no? [39]

life is real hard in Poland bordering on impossible if you have rent to pay or mortgage..Life in Ireland and Britain is a lot easier..A pint is 4.90 in ireland. Unless you own a house in Poland(paid for) or have big self employing plans, think twice. Poland is a real mess at the moment..income-mortgage ratio etc

Real Estate / Mortgage in Poland (rules, rates, types, websites)? [26]

By recovering, do you mean to a level where it benifits the people of Poland...or do you mean the bubble is going to remain and the people will continue to be punished by greed? Recover??

UK, Ireland / Time for the Poles from the UK to go home [437]

I lived in England in the early ninties. They told me there was too many blacks.and pakies and when they got drunk they told me there was too many Irish..The funny thing was these nazi type were sometimes Irish themselves and they were against imigrants who came recently lol.

Forget about logic these people are not interested in truth only hatred as it is the only way they can release pressure from their straw brains due to their limited capacity..

Too manny Poles....
Here in Ireland im hearing the same sh1t...I really fear the rise of the far right..

Real Estate / How are Poland's properties priced? [51]

The prices of Property in Poland have absolutely nothing to do with the economy of the country.Crap little apartments in areas where there is almost zero chance of gaining employment and even if you got a job it would pay less than half of what you would get on the dole in Ireland sitting on your arse. The property is bases on the wages of Poles living outside the country and naive investors. The average property if based on Polish wages would be the prices of 2003-04 or maybe 20% more. Just look at Mandom etc etc and their prices if you want to see a big joke. Supply and demand is an issue as well with their scumbag politicions holding back development so they can leech their people dry.I think the recession will have to really really hit Europe before the property in Poland reflect its reality. As long as there are Poles in Ireland and England etc working in Mcdonalds and other sh1tholes the property will remain through the roof. The investors are now running and it is time for the Poles to refuse paying for property as if it was built with bricks of gold...Gods playground...

Life / What's wrong with you, Polish people - is it an inferiority complex? [120]

The Poles were seen as the disputed bride of the two big powers on both sides since ever and then they get plunged into the web of the soviets. If you look back in history the jews went to the east because they were bet out of the then bigoted west. The poles were victims of constant brutality so l think they have need for our understanding not slagging..

History / DID THE COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT OF POLAND CENSOR MAIL IN AND OUT OF POLAND [29]

with this google surveillence thing on the news today and with it been nothing but the tip of the tip if the iceberg i wonder how much of our elecronic mail is read and disected today.Just watched that German movie recently "other peoples lives" it took a lot of manpower for the the stassi to operate. i doubt the Bush patriot act need as much to do their massive job.

History / DID THE COMMUNIST GOVERNMENT OF POLAND CENSOR MAIL IN AND OUT OF POLAND [29]

(Adamkamdon...) but what about dissidents and the right to privacy and civil rights etc etc etc....These orwellian soviet style acts(patriot) are an attak on democracy

surveillance and censorship work hand in hand, the distinction is blurred.. In Ireland there was section 31 and RUC /Gardai network surveillance.
I would imagine that the Stassi and co would use surveillence to detect dissidents and then concentrate on their letters and phone calls. Today it is much more advanced. They can listen in to us all.

Real Estate / Making an offer for Polish houses [30]

I would offer him 50 % and wait and if no reply wait a bit longer and if no reply wait a bit longer and hopefully by then he would be delighted with the 50% maybe even 30%. Or just rent and wait as gravity always wins..Buying now would not be a gamble just acute stupidity .

Or if you believe there is a buyer seller equilibrium in Poland LOL just give him 110 % and joint the rest of the herd.

Housing prices have stabilized , and soon they will grow again - convincing developers . Employees of real estate offices urge to buy and do not delude yourself into price reductions in the future. Financial advisors who are interested in selling mortgages ensure that more than a few percent reductions in housing prices will not.

Those who sell apartments on the secondary market , stubbornly maintain inflated prices , believing that someone in the end these properties will buy from them . Intending to buy an apartment postpone the decision , hoping that it will soon pay a few tens of percent less than today. Who is right ? In Poland it is a huge demand for housing , so prices will rise year on year by at least 10-15 per cent . Buy today because tomorrow will be more expensive - such slogans were recently fed . Is it really our market is so specific that we have to pay for housing as much as the people of Western Europe or the United States , although several are earning less than they?

Real Estate / Making an offer for Polish houses [30]

Dont check similar properties bought over the last 6 months, check prices in general over the last 6 to 10 years....get a perspective on how Fcuked up it all is over there. The is no reasonable price in property bubble. I f Polish wages triple this year well maybe then the prices might be reasonable.

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

So the average wage is close to 700 euro a month is it...well thats great to hear...Is that true?????
are the Polish the second class citizens of europe that they must pay this price and have western europeans justifyng it. I earn about 700 euro a week in Ireland and I pay the same rent as is wanted for this..

Even if you earn 2700 zloty a month how can handing over all your wages to the lanlord be justified...what a mess

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

So how much is a furnished 60m2 apartment in central Dublin with all bills paid?

Well its nowhere near 2500 euro if you want to use equivalence, maybe 1000...No one in Dublin is anway near as ripped of as this..

But i suppose they will squash 6 people in..what a mess you'd be better off in a hostel

Real Estate / PLN 2,500 the going rate for an apartment in Poland [210]

Well wages are at least 4-6 times higher in Dublin so im talking euro not zloty...Paying 2500 zloty in a Polish city would be like paying 2500 euro in Dublin except in Dublin it is closer to 1000..Outside of Dublin a 4 bedroom house to rent for a month is less than a weeks wages...
