Love / Filipina having a relationship with a Polish Man [95]

Hi. Kumusta na kayo? How are you and your boyfriend?

Swerte niyo ni Conniey. You and Connie are lucky. Ingit ako. I'm envious.Hehehe.

I actually had a good impression of the Poles (fun loving, chill, good at learning foreign languages, intelligent, sporty, kept to themselves). Back in middle school and high school, I had classmates from Poland. This was at an international school. Managed to keep in touch with aquaintances.

How did you meet your boyfriend? Were you vacationing in Australia? Has he visited The Philippines?

Good luck and more power to you.

Salamat. (Thanks.) Oo, symepre naman.(Yes, of course.)

I was actually looking for information I could find about Poland. I did a google search.

You should read this. This an article about Being a Married Foreigner. It happens that the lady who wrote this is a Filipina married to a Polish man. They live in Gniezno, Poland.

There is also a blog (In Living the Polish Life), also a Filipina married to a Pole.

No offence, but Filipinos are as bumbling as Poles... I see this as a good match.

Panalo ito,ibang klase. Hehehe.

It's a winner. =)

Show respect and courtesy. I also have nothing against your opinion.

.

it was a joke, mate.

I got it. That's why I said, "Panalo ito, ibang klase." (It's a winner, out of this world) meaning award winning combination. A match. Haha! Don't worry about it, I'm cool. At least you were just kidding.

Are you really serious about what it?

Have you ever been to Poland??:)

No offence man, just surprised that you have such a different point of view.

Peter_olsztyn did not write this. He was quoting an article. A Filipina wrote this;her husband is Polish. She moved from The Philippines to Gniezno, Poland) She was comparing Philippines to Poland.

When you compare The Philippines to Poland there is a difference. In The Philippines, we do not have a good healthcare system. You pay out of your own pocket (and it's expensive to give birth in a hospital or if you have an operation). The cities are modernized and have malls just like in the US (even larger).

Of course, it is another thing when you compare Poland to the Western nations.

This is in "Urban Dictionary"

1)Polipino -A Polish Filipino, half Filipino and half Polish.

2)Polipino- Half Polish, half Filipino.

I know 3 variations: Polipino, Polipinay and PiPol.

Sorry LA Girl. She's my friend too. I am Filipina. I was not kidding when I saw this in Urban Dictionary.

I was in a "Mexipino" relationship at one point.

Actually it's not rude. It's common in inter-racial relationships. For instance Chinoy/Chinay Chinese and Pinoy/ay. I have actually once heard someone telling a group of people that she's Holapina ( half Dutch and half Filipina).

Sorry, for the misunderstanding.

Polonia / Polish tourists in The Philippines [12]

Anyone Polish who have visited The Philippines? What are your impressions of The Philippines and Filipinos? Have you visited one of the beach resorts? Where did you go? Would you come back for another visit? Would you recommend others to visit?

Krysia,

How long ago was this? Yes, 70% live in poverty. I have family on all ends (lower class, lower and upper middle)I haven't eaten dog but I heard some have eaten it. Now even rural areas improved their roads, houses have electricity, maybe airconditioning. I have seen the changes in my father and mother's hometowns.

Have you been there, to the beach resorts?
