So who's the mother? Did the kid have two fathers? (you and the one who died)? So which one of you men are the real father? Are you gay? Didn't know two males can produce a baby.

Sounds like a scam.

How many people got scammed by this?
Look under "adoption scams". The birthmother offering her baby for adoption, then asks for money for the plane ticket or diapers, then takes the money and you never see the baby.
