Gaza had the same population before israel withdrew. So we did not set up an open air refugee camp by withdrawing. I suppose according to that logic that if we would withdraw from the west bank then we will have set up an even bigger "refugee camp".

You've baffled me...what is the point of your above statement and how is it connected to the creation of a refugee problem? Which Israeli withdrawal are you referring to? And what warped logic are you applying here?

Why do you question what has Russia done? The clip is clearly about Jewish Holocaust survivors being denied cents from the millions raised from the Holocaust propaganda machine. The clip interviewed real survivors, and it should not matter where they from.

So he worked out a deal where the city kept the rent, but he got back the property. Now he's collecting rents (from rent-protected tenants), and eventually he will sell it.

Unfortunately, I don't see any information on this coming from any reputable paper. And if there were 10,000 people coming to reclaim land, perhaps it's counting everyone who's filing paperwork before the deadline - not just one group.

If you look at first page on the post there a link to the original article in the Jeruslem Post. Obviously they are not going to all appear on our doorstep all at once.

The point is should people who are now Israeli citizens they have the right to claim back the land that their parents or grandparents had before they fled.

The main issues are:

1) Do they have a right ?
2) If Yes ? What if the land their ancestors once lived on is now inhabited by families ? It is very unlikely that the land is unoccupied. Should these Polish familes pay some strange family compensation for no reason ? Should they leave their home and welcome their newfound Israeli friends to occupy their house ?

3) If their land is now state owned should it be released to them? This will then be at the cost of tax-payers money.

4) Or Should we say: NO. What happened was a result of war and during wartime. During war many many bad things happen: rape, murder, torture. These people were lucky enough to actually flee from the war. How fortunate is that? Why can't they just count their lucky eggs and let it be instead of hiring lawyers to make claims for something which is no longer theirs.

My uncles DIED to save many...one was caught with 23 Jews, and was shot on the spot. Another was shot in Katyn.

May your uncle rest in peace. Tell me why then if so many people like your uncle died saving Jews; Why did Kwasnieski apologize to the world jews for the holocaust ? If we did so much for the Jews why are we being made the guilty ones ?

How do you think your uncle will feel knowing that Poland had to apologize for the Holocaust ? Do you feel guilty ?

With all due respect your family is not the only one who's family members died during war. And it was indiscriminate. We all have stories we can discuss. There is no Poish family without such a story.

The unfortunate thing is, this is also happening right now. You dont have to go back 60 years....you can go to Palestine, Darfur, Chechnya, Bosnia....and go and tell the perpetratrators of these conflict zones to please STOP being racist and kickiing people out of their houses!!!!

War is not about religion or race. It is about politics and power. Religion and race are used as the 'battlecry', and to arouse nationalism.

Back to the question....who's money should be used to pay any sort of compensation. When you say government you are talking about Polish taxpayers money. So who's pocket should this compensation come from.

i get most of the free sky channels using an old digibox and an 80cm dish, and an expired sky card.

i am sure if i get a 2m dish i will get bbc and itv channels too....

not sure how it will work with a full paid card....
