Yup, the Democrats started the KKK.
I watched 'Hillary's American' a couple weeks ago. Most of the film is explaining the history and evolution of the Democratic Party. I recommend for all to watch
The past is ALWAYS present, to EVERYBODY except the ignorant and uninformed!! If you were severely mistreated
It is one thing to be aware of the past but another to be held captive by it. For example it would be counter-productive for me to mistreat current day Germans because of the past
The bigger problem is integration. For example the term African-American. How many blacks in America
- were born in Africa
- stepped foot on Africa in their lives
- speak an African dialect
Yet they continue to refer to each other as Africans. The term African-American was born out of slavery, so it will always default to slavery. Whether justified or used for pandering. USA will always have this disgruntled population until they decide to personally wise up. USA never had to free the slaves. USA never had to give blacks voting rights. White Americans
GAVE blacks these rights. No foreign nation stepped in and forced USA to evoke these changes.
In the West, we have gone way past the stage of coming to grips with our past. It is now used against us. Why are Westeners naive enough to fall for this self-punishment?
