News / Polish Independence Day March in Warsaw. Is it going to be the biggest march yet? [1530]

Lets assume same level of skills, or even higher. Is he welcome ? and not on a virtual basis - I mean can he come there live ?

Why are you asking me this question? It's up to Brits to invite whoever they want to, especially now after Brexit. That's not my business. I'm only here to make money and not to decide what should be included in an immigration policy of the UK.

Those rights come from the EU

EU is an overgrown neo marxist monster, what we really need in Europe is a single market [for goods and services and free movement for EU citizens] and nothing else.

So what if the UK wants the skills of an Indian dude who is 20 percent cheaper than you ?

First of all he needs to have the same level of skills as I do to begin with.

On few occasions I did employed a virtual assistant from Bangladesh and Philippines on UpWork to do some repetitive tasks for me. They are cheaper indeed, not only 20% cheaper but more like up to 5 times cheaper in general. We were both happy with the results.

That's how capitalism works - free exchange of services between people. If you don't want to become replaced educate yourself and invest in yourself.

And second of all the whole point of working in the UK was to collect fund to start working on my own.

I'm not a corporate type, I prefer to be my own boss :-)

So lets get this straight Spike. You would vote for May's Brexit and an end to Freedom of movement....as long as it doesn't affect you, right?

Let's make it straight:

I'm all in for a freedom of movement for citizens of the countries which belongs to the EU.

I'm all in for unrestricted single European market for goods and services.

I'm against the EU as a federation, so called United States of Europe.

I'm against the EU as an ideological and political body but would rather see it a free trade alliance.

I'm against the EU being also a military pact.

I hope my views are clear now :-)

The UK wanted my skills and I wanted British money it is that simple. Once the contract is completed I'm going back to Poland cause London can't offer me much more than money anymore.

Germany has changed a hell lot since the end of Warl War II as a result of that war and as a result of the policies of the Allied Forces introduced to the occupied country

I think you've just answered yourself. They've 'changed' due to policies of an occupying forces. That was never a deep internal change in nation's mind.

Here's an example:

"Vast majority of former high-ranking Gestapo officials simply resumed their careers as private practice lawyers after the war"

dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3248330/How-Gestapo-thugs-waltzed-plum-jobs-war-horrors-chronicled-new-book-reveals-deeply-shocking-twist.html

Look how angry they get when you bring up some historical facts like they would like to completely forget about numerous atrocities they've committed. In the best case scenario the answer is: "let's not talk about past", well hard titties since the past defines who you are right now.

If you never fully processed your past you'll make the same mistakes in the future.

And they dare to lecture Poland about tolerance and about how we should run our own country. Impudent krauts.

And now Germany wants to push out the Americans from Europe with this ill conceived Franco-German EU army project. They want to be the sole ruler of the EU. Economical influence and "soft power" is not enough for them anymore, now they want to build an army. That's like giving an ape a razorblade.

There is no such thing as a 'white neighbourhood' in London

How would you call a Wimbledon then: have you ever waited for a train on a Wimbledon station at 8AM? It almost feels like a different city. How would you solve that mystery?

And yes, I do live in London until my current contract ends and I'll be able to go back to Poland and live peacefully. I'm grateful for this experience; London has not only let me save some dough but also opened my eyes for real dangers of false tolerance and enforced multiculturalism. Something that Poland has fortunately avoided so far.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in a real diversity - in that there should be different regions [and countries] with different ethnic groups so we won't collide with each other and those unique cultural traces and traditions which define us won't dissolve in a sea of neo-marxist utopia of multikulti.

And that's also why I am a defender of autonomous national states within the EU and against the concept of European federation. Diversity is strength :-)

Heh:) I remember one of your first posts stating that Germans are unable to be proud of their country...proud to be Germans.

Yes, you are unable to feel healthy pride.

There's a pride and their a false pride with a chauvinistic undertone. Germans excels in the latter one.

Look at those German 'ubermensch' protesting in front of Woolworths in 1933. That's an example of false pride.

A link please? Or two...

Not only a link but also a quote. Links fade away yet a solid quote stays:

And in the meantime, Spike has to "suffer" his British muslim neighbours.... tut tut!

Spike makes decent money so he lives in a white neighbourhood :-) Yet he witnesses a slow but steady degradation of the city on his trips around London.

You are the one who holds deeply biased views regarding Germany and is unable to properly adjust his opinion to better reflect reality.

Nope, it's you who is blinded by a false pride in German state and you cannot even accept that your leaders have made stupid decisions which will lead Germany into chaos and will lead to a collapse of the EU in the future.

And your false sense of pride won't even allow you to criticize obvious wrongdoings of you leaders who has stated on many occasions (Steinmeier, Merkel) that ethnic Germans are obsolete in a new state of Germany.

That's the main force of every emigration..

I said "easy money" that is to milk German welfare state, not to work.

You are hysterical over Germany becoming a Muslim country, really

Show me one word in my post which could be described as "hysterical". Changing discussion from arguing about facts and numbers to personal attacks doesn't help your case.

Germany may at most end up with some admixture of non-European blood

History also teaches us that some countries were colonized when a "new blood" reached a critical mass. And muslims doesn't want to "dissolve": they are very traditional and very religious. And they also don't think that European or German culture is better than their own so they don't really want to accept it. They only came to Germany for easy money.

They rarely start families with 'infidels' and they breed much faster than ethnic Germans. So it's not a question if but rather when they become a dominant force in Germany. It's simple math really

Considering that Poland is facing a much bigger demographic catastrophy than Germany, I doubt that Poland could benefit from it anyway.

Yet Poland is not "curing" it with taking millions of African "refugees" without papers who will remain unemployed in a foreseeable future and are violent and completely incompatible with an European culture.

Instead, Poland took over 2 million Ukrainians who work and pay taxes. And, as a bonus, they are not blowing things up nor rape women.

Can you see the difference, @Tacitus?

no longer the pesky untrustworthy agressive neighbour but a new friend maybe?

Friend is too big of a word. But maybe someone who doesn't want to interfere with Polish internal affairs.
And who doesn't feel such a strong 'emotional connection' with our land. Especially its western part.

Anyway, when even your leader mutti Merkel wants to replace you with african and middle east migrants why on earth should Poles defend native Germans? It's not like we owe you anything, it's the other way around.

What I always find so pathetic is that all these "looming doom" scenarios...Such hypocrits with their false tears

What false tears? I've always stated plainly that the fate of Germany doesn't interest me only as much as it affects Poland.

If anything collapse of Germany would create some room to stretch the elbows for Poland. But I think it is going to be a slow yet inevitable process of a population replacement than some kind of sudden destruction. And Poland needs to shield itself from your silly decisions to reduce the splash damage on our country.

Germany will simply cease to be Germany anymore. It will transform in a new Turko--Middle eastern-north African muslim republik if you prefer. You have to be blind to not see this coming.

They've used a demographic weapon against you. That's a sneaky and not very noble way to conquest a country but it seems to be very effective.

Many of the Turks in Germany have voted for Erdogan...but none of them packs the bags to return to the promised Sultanat

Because Germany is their promised sultanat. Why would they return when Germany is getting islamized at a rapid pace? They feel at home already

Many of the Germans in the US were more Nazis then the Germans at home during the Thirties...

:-D

And that's why those "less Nazi Germans" did Aktion T4, Kristallnacht, voted Hitler to power (yes, hitler was democratically elected a chancellor, hooray democracy!) and started WWII.

After that they've build concentration camps and mass murdered people at an industrial scale.

I can't imagine what those "more Nazi Germans" from the US would do...

Today there is no liberalism but progressivisms.

Yes, a new secular religion in which groups of 'special' individuals demand not equality but privileges and special treatment which is not based on their contribution to the society.

Judging from the point of sociocultural evolution Poland is on the right side of the history with this one.

Now we just keep on doing what we're doing and wait patiently to reap the fruits

I'm not blaming anybody. I was asking you if a total destruction of Germany every few years would help you with your hate...

Hate is not a correct word here. Hate is...unproductive. In life I prefer to get even.

If you don't punish a wrong behaviour it encourages the offender to continue with his wrongdoings.

The same principle applies to countries.

It is objectively wrong to equalize the Polish system after the reforms to the German system.

Since "it's wrong to equalize" that means that each judiciary system is different and valid in its own rights.

Germany, France and their satellites losing nerves rapidly. Are you ready for party that will occur in Europe Poles?

Every party in Europe, especially when Germany is involved, ends the same way. So since we already know the finale of the game the most important part is to be prepared to play :-)

And Poland is preparing to play; each years military spendings are getting higher and the number of military staff rises.
And one of the most important things to do is to not let them push out the US from European affairs.

Just how dangerous that can be is demonstrated by the current case in the banking sector.

And what do you know about "the current case in the banking sector"? I'm eager to learn it :-)

@Tacitus so you're defending this failed decision based on vote ratio while ignoring the core principle that the court in general shouldn't be politized.

That's hypocrisy.

Yet so much for the better. Thanks to this kind of behaviour more countries will follow an example and start bending the rules which will lead to collapse of this neomarxist (based on ideas of Marxist Antonio Gramsci) project called "EU".

For every action there's a reaction.

America hates the idea of the EU becoming independent

EU is not 'becoming independent'. It can't become independent since its just an alliance of countries and not a country on its own. EU is a formation of countries in which most of the members have different national interests. Some EU countries, like Poland for example, don't have problem with America.

They hate the Euro because it threatens the dollar

Well, euro currency threatens south European economies like Greece and Italy first and foremost, more than it threatens American dollar. Poland doesn't have euro and it's the fastest developing economy in the whole EU.

As I said, it's all about America hating the fact that Europeans no longer want to lick their boots

I understand that you would rather lick German boots for some reason? And what's that all about with licking boots anyway? There's a huge space of reasonable approaches between 'licking boots' and hating.

Get out of a tunnel vision trap and see a big picture for once in your life.

This whole German-Franco military project is yet another attempt for Germans to free themselves from an international alliance [NATO] in which they don't play a dominant role and to create one in which they could dominate thanks to their economic power.

You wouldn't give an ape a razor, would you? So why would you trust Germany with a military project?

Britain in a good place to make some money when you don't have your own family yet. I would never start a family in the UK for the sake of my children and their future.

Law / Lawyer familiar with EU law needed (to sue my employer in Poland) [65]

@Rich Mazur The great exercise on a subject "which citizenship takes precedence" is Brexit.

British citizens has voted to leave the EU.

And nobody in the UK asked the EU "citizens" about their opinion on Brexit, not to mention to let them vote whether they would let the UK to leave the EU or not.

Only British, Irish and Commonwealth citizens who were residents in the UK were allowed to vote:
express.co.uk/news/politics/649517/EU-referendum-2016-Voting-Voters-Allowed-British-Irish-Commonwealth-Citizens-European

So this crucial matter regarding the membership of the EU was decided by British citizens.

A national [British in this case] citizenship has precedence over the EU "citizenship"

Quod erat demonstrandum

Bratwurst Boy, Germany has got it's own marches you know, but they're far less civilised and much more chauvinistic. And it seems that's exactly where AfD gets more votes.

"Since 2015, when hundreds of thousands of people sought asylum in Germany, anti-migrant sentiment has manifested much more strongly in the old east.

Anti-migrant grassroots movement Pegida harnessed public concern in Saxony with weekly marches in Dresden, which at their height attracted 20,000 people.

Some were extremists. But all marched together, chanting the old Nazi slogan "Lügenpresse" (lying press).

(...) The seemingly spontaneous outbreak of violent xenophobia has shocked many in Germany."
