Thanks a lot! You got it right! "Roligt" to be precise.

Oh boy don't teach a father how to make babies, Danish is my mother tounge;)

Roligt is neutral denoted by the t at the end as in et roligt barn (a calm child)

Male/Female gender: en rolig dreng (a calm boy) no t at the end

There is a Swedish and Danish word (can't remember it now) that means "solemn" in one language and "jolly" in the other. Just imagine a Swede getting on taxi and asking the driver to take the Swede to some jolly place in Copenhagen, and the Danish driver taking him to a church ;-)

You referring to the word: 'rolig' which in Danish means calm, peaceful. Rolig in Swedish means funny.

Which kind of tells you that Swedes are not particularly funny people;)

Language / Ukrainian language similar to Polish? [236]

Interesting... as well as what's gonna happen in Ukraine in years to come. Do you see a chance of nationwide revival of the Ukrainian language?

Language / Ukrainian language similar to Polish? [236]

Well. Western Ukrainians are... special ;)

Just because you prefer to speak Russian and thereby you feel yourself superior to them as it is presented in your remarks makes me think that soviets really did succeed in Russifying Ukraine. I was surprised when you said that in soviet times Ukrainian actually was taught in schools. But now I wonder it was done as to make it appear as something redundant, a mere folklore to be phased out by homo sovieticus Russian. What was it? Behold the sputnik... and here comes the Lada, if you behave and drop that silly village speak boy..? Seems that west Ukrainians had minus 25 years of soviet brainwashing and hence that ‘special’ difference.

Not to mention that they escaped the blessings of Russian empire being part of Austria-Hungary.

News / Conservative-liberalism (Laissez-faire liberalism), another utopia for Poland? [99]

1. The role of State should be reduced to absolute minimum

heh I can't help laughing when I read these 10 commandments on how to get back to Stone Age a.s.a.p. Weekend's upon us I'm busy but I might elaborate on it in a few days. For now I'll just say to you try living in any Scandinavian country (and I mean live, work, etc..) and then reflect on what you wrote lol

Food / Ok, what is it? Golumpkis or Golabkis? [13]

Funny thing about gołąbki is that it is such an ubiquitous dish in world's different cuisines. Pretty much anywhere there is meat and cabbage available you'll find a local variety of gołąbki. The Thai version (originally Chinese) is particularly tasty. The trick is in the mixture of ground garlic, coriander root and black pepper added to the ground meat and seasoned with oyster and light soya sauce.

Life / Who is poor in Poland? [720]

Did the sales data track where the meat is consumed? Is it possible the people are crossing the Polish border to buy cheaper groceries?

I think we will see a further decline in meat consumption across the western Europe, which is a good thing. Why? Read this:

guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jan/23/german-diet-meat-environment

which makes the absurdity of her pseudo argument (or whatever that is)

Germany is richer than Poland isn`t it ? You mentioned earlier that Polish people are deprived of meat as it was said in your GUS stats . Who is wrong ? Who is poor then ?

even more glaring.

Love / In Polish relationships who is the boss? [46]

Women of course, as they are endowed with the gift of telepathy and men’s disadvantage in that respect is not always apparent to them (men seem to rely on spoken words closely corresponding to the intention and the goal of their message) This is not to say that women so vastly superior had lost their ability to speak, on the contrary their telepathic super powers gain in strength and vigor proportionally to the amount of audible words totally unrelated to women’s true intentions.
