Have you as yet made any attempt to learn Polish? Once again, best of luck to you, but without at least survival Polish, neither English nor certainly Swedish, will get you far, that is, in a meaningful way:-)

"Pollock", once again is the spelling of a family name. Written with a small 'p', of course, it's also a type of fish, and has nothing to do with "Polak":-) Merely a point of information.

Law / Poland Passport visa appointment - do the office hold my old passport? [4]

I see. Is your purpose in visiting Poland touristic, education or simply for vacation? If it's just for a trip, a week or so, you don't really need to know Polish.

Any longer though, definitely learn the language.

Had I known more Hebrew before visiting Haifa, my visit would have been so much more rewarding:-)

Ever bothered to inquire as to the actual statistics of Muslims, practicing Muslims, world wide, not massaged figures? I doubt it. Your bigoted remarks concerning numerous topics suggest ignorance (Poland and the Jews, for instance) as well as downright malice.

No doubt.

Again at the risk of becoming tiresome, of course, a few "Dzien dobry!" "Dziekuje!", "Prosze, ale gdzie jest...?" etc. can go a LONG way in fostering a bond between (foreign) visitor and host:-)

I only put myself in the position of any outsider who is admittedly a sort of duck out of water, arriving in a country so different from their own, soooo homogeneous, and then expecting folks to sort of pop up out of the woodwork who know fluent English. It's just not realistic, that's all I'm saying.

Whilst I know NO word of Pangla, Deri, Pashto or any one of a number of languages off the beaten path, I'd surely make it my business to pick up a little if I intended to spend more than merely a few short days in that country!

It simply boils down to respect.

Johnny, I can sure as heck tell ya who Trump voters ain't! They're the aging, greying pony-tail sportin' "Easy Riders" on their hogs in shades, criss-crossin' their own territory, the Duck Robertson's of this country, erstwhile '60's idealists, long soured on "liberalism" and the truest embodiment of Jane & Joe Sixpack! They are NOT by and large button-down Wall St. types in their neatly pressed suits, old school ties and the image of convention itself.

Trump supporters are every school-yard bully never given their "fair" shot at being as viciously, Darwinistically Unfair as they can be. The ones who now see an untrammeled path toward slash and burn, plunder and run, divide and conquer.

Sound familiar? It should:-)

Rather than labeling, Johnny (and by the way, I'm neither of Japanese descent, nor a Jewish American PrinceSSLOL), try learning something for a change!

I find it strange that, like many a freeloader, Trump expects EUROPE to pay for US debts, similar to his demands that MEXICO pay the US for OUR border problems!!!

It's all so achingly tragic, how is it then I feel like laughing till I bust??

But folks, Trump DOESN'T THINK!! He has advisors to do that for him and if the rest are anything like Sean Spicer, White House Chief of Staff, you know we're in for a rough time, 'cuz the dude doesn't know SQUAT about much of anything, especially history (witness that wonderful Holocaust gaff round about the beginning of the yearLOL).

Indeed, Trump wants to belittle our European allies, while simultaneously taking credit for Europe's accomplishments:-)

No surprise that the last time I was overseas, in Vienna to be exact, no one whom I met could believe either that I as a native-born American, spoke German, or that I had the vaguest idea of European geography and history. In fact, and this was years before Trump was even a gleam in the eye of the US presidential scene, I was typically introduced to people as "Herr Simspson from America.", so convinced were people that the average American is what we now would associate with a Donald Trump character.

Apparently though, Trump fared better in Poland than he is expected to in France. Go figure.

Someone who recently graduated from the University of Poznan, claims that her city may have a higher percentage of English-speakers than almost any other Polish city. Probably wouldn't be all too tough to find an English-speaking lawyer to handle a basic matter for you.

Trump sure hasn't. The dude's proud of it even. His incorrigability has certainly struck a chord with the moron millions, I regrettably have to call my fellow Americans. Ya punch out a teacher in junior high school for no reason and your dad's a bigwig of whom the idiot principal friggin' ass coward's too scared, and ya wind up leader of the free world.

Not certain whether or not the White House still retains a Protocal Chief. If they do, he/she's either been bought off (more than likely), is dead drunk, or on drugs, 'cuz protocal's the LAST thing on this cabinet's mind. And they rationalize it as doing the right thing. Incredible!!!
