News / Which French candidate for president will be best for Poland? [512]

It's not exactly like Le Pen was a friend of Poland.

But unlike Macron she wouldn't be meeting with Merkel and that big creep Juncker to threaten Poland with sanctions for not taking in unneeded migrants from outside the EU. At least Poland has PiS in government to push back and put Poland's interests first.

It's a clear rejection of the Russian-backed populism

Hilarious!

So will Macron be declaring war on Russia over election interference? Nope. Won't happen. Ever.

That being the case you can be the first one on here to make your pledge tonight that when Macron is next seen smiling and shaking hands with Putin in a photo-op hoping to seal a trade deal with Russia you will come back on here to withdraw your support for him and apologize to the forum for backing a French president who was never a friend of Poland.

At the very least Le Pen would have ensured France's youth weren't having to compete at home with third worlders for jobs at slave wages. Or having to see their future pensions raided and diverted to pay for their demographic replacements.

You think Macron will be able to prevent hate and xenophobia among those facing long-term unemployment, hopelessness and poverty? Wake up!

Of course Macron and the leftist media will simply go into totalitarian crackdown mode on anyone who dares to question him or his regime.

Reality is Macron 65.1%, Le Pen 35.9%...You get what you ask for, good luck!

Q: How many troops does it take to defend France?

A: No one knows; it's never been done before!

This time however there will be no treaties to negotiate or Allied forces to come over the horizon to liberate Paris and free France.

Macron offers nothing for France's youth (or by extension Europe's youth) but joblessness, despair, and demographic replacement. He should just drop the pretense and mail them cyanide pills.

Before you start accusing ppl

Indeed, this information can be found with a simple search. Sure, he denied the claims but that is only to be expected of a politician. They never tell the truth.

Did you hear about Macron's associate dying shortly after the leaked e-mails were published ?

Interesting. A few months ago there were also reports of Macron having a gay lover. This is very plausible given his childless marriage to a woman a quarter of a century older than he is. It would also explain his unquestioned support among some posters here on PF.

Merkel too is old and childless (old-school lesbian perhaps?) and fully supports Macron.

Obviously these two fringe characters have no personal investment in Europe's future and so cannot relate to the average person from their own demographic group. Their preference for replacement immigration from the third world is little more than taking the attention-seeking fad among Hollywood celebrities in adopting African babies to a geo-strategic level.

Law / Stopped by the Poland's Police for no reason while walking at night [94]

He mentioned his race because he hoped somebody would say 'ah yes, it was because of the colour of your skin.'

For some in this world they know from their household and community upbringing that they are judged by the content of their character while others have been conditioned by the leftists in the media, academia and politics that they are victims because of the color of their skin and therefore should be exempt from any judgement to the point of never being questioned by anyone for anything.

I wonder why.

White = Requirements and responsibilities.

Non-white = Opportunities and entitlements.

It looks like much of this is down to two individuals called William Craddock and Jack Posobiec, both connected to the so called 'alt right', with early involvement fromm Russian linked sources

Yes, well, a hallmark of conspiracy theories is that they have more twists and turns than a Hollywood film with both never reflecting reality.

Still, no explanation as to the need for Russia to be trying to turn votes against leftist globalists in Europe and America.

And why wait to the eve of voting to leak material? It's well known that the left controls the media on both sides of the Atlantic and will matter-of-factly suppress stories or distract the populations with sports and celebrity gossip. It would have been far more damaging for any leak to be made earlier so the French public could learn about and absorb it to the point where the leftist media and their darling globalist candidate couldn't ignore it.

Also, nothing will weaken the West more than culturally dividing immigration and ultimately the trillions it will cost to fund it. It would make far more sense for Russia to support such candidates rather than nationalists.

As time goes on this "blame the Russians" theme seems more like sour grapes from a generation of Soviets and their descendants who made their way to the West and Israel after losing power in Russia and the former Warsaw Pact countries.

Globalism is nothing more than a rebranding of The Communist International and it is clear who supports it and why.

These are images of migrant life in France today and Macron's promise and your wish to have in Poland tomorrow:

French citizen

French citizens have the right now to reside and work in Poland. But that is not what the issue of Macron's sanction threat is about. It's the unsustainable, irreversibly damaging importation of million of migrants now flooding into the EU from Africa and the Middle East on Merkel's invitation so she can garner a Nobel prize for herself.

Poles would respect NATIVE citizens of France having rights to live and work and invest in their homeland over others. Like with the resignation-inducing hack of America's leftist globalist Democratic National Committee last year, Macron's emails must contain some pretty damaging stuff. And what is now textbook fashion he too is scapegoating the Russians in a desperate last minute move (literally) to delegitimize and draw the French voters' attention away from them.

Given his recent nasty caterwauling comments against Poland's democratically elected government (and in turn Poland's electorate) one would think that any would-be Russian hacker would be doing everything to help Macron win. Indeed, he is no friend of Poland and this explains why non-Poles on PF have been cheerleading for him on the sidelines.

Life / Is it safe for Indians, Sikhs living here in Poland? Any Temple / Gurudwara in Wroclaw? [159]

Poland needs cultural diversity. Until there is a mix, you won't move forward. Diversity and how women are treated is an indicator of how advanced society is.

Here we go again. More baseless shaming language packaged in meaningless "feel good" platitudes from an economic migrant with a high expectation of being given unearned acceptance and obviously a good paying job in Poland or another modern EU economy with a high standard of living which he couldn't create for himself back home.

As usual there is no explanation provided as to why Poland needs cultural diversity and no explanation either about what there is to move forward from or into. Nope. He couldn't even point to his homeland as a positive example of it. Instead, Indianman shows up uninvited and is miffed that there is no red carpet lined on both sides with admiring and applauding Poles waiting to welcome him.

Before anyone starts bobbing their ganja-fogged heads in unquestioning agreement with the PC proclamations from this latest unregistered swami and his unsolicited dispensing of leftist identity politics, his education should first be called into question and his true reason for being in Poland:

Critics say India's universities are too focused on rote memorization, leaving students without the critical thinking skills required to solve problems. Teachers are paid low salaries, leading to poor quality of instruction.

Source: money.cnn.com/2016/04/08/news/economy/india-population-skills-gap-education/

Indeed, when people can't trade on knowledge and talent they end up competing by being willing to work for less (way less) while overstating or completely lying about their qualifications (seriously, who in Poland is going to call India to confirm education transcripts or employment references?).

Recently PM Szydło stated she does not want Poland to be a country of cheap labor. She's absolutely right. It is low now in many sectors compared to some other EU countries which makes Poland competitive. However, importing migrants from the overpopulated, crime ridden, highly corrupt, heavily polluted, rampantly diseased, socially backward third world who are willing to work slave wages in order to live in a modern society like Poland which they played no part in developing will only worsen the standard of living for Poles and their Polish children trying to enter the labor market.

The fruits of opportunities and benefits grown from Polish sacrifice and investment should not be handed over to smiling, unskilled, poorly educated third worlders who suddenly show up with empty pockets and their hands out.

And what a hoot that an Indian is lecturing others about the "advancement of a society equating to the treatment of its women." Hilarious! Obviously he isn't referring to India. You know one of the top ranked countries with a very long history of female foeticide and sex-selective abortion disproportionately terminating pregnancies when the gender is found to be female. The same practice which is still very commonplace (even when it goes underground) with the Indian diaspora particularly those living in the EU.

Your ancestorsy blood line, Slavic, migrated to Poland. Therefore Poland is not homegeneous.

More corrosive lies and contradiction in statements. If according to this swami Poland was never homogenous to begin with then why earlier did he proclaim that Poland needs diversity and wouldn't move "forward" until there is a mix?

As already pointed out, this is a fine example of the Indian education system. Nothing more than rote memorization of Cultural Marxist BS without the ability to stop and critically assess that he himself is completely full of it.

He is simply relying on there being enough "white guilt liberals" out there to facilitate him having a very content life for himself in Europe. Dumb white men who will willingly open doors of opportunities for him and dumber white women (with all the social safety nets in place to catch them when it all falls apart) who will willing spread their legs for his further enjoyment.

Law / Lviv born. Can Polish ancestry be claimed? [34]

A large proportion of the population of Polesie claimed to be "tutejszy" (local) rather than Polish or other as their nationality.

And there are different theories as to why this is but it appears to be down to a lack of trust between the census takers and respondents who were of different ethnicities.

An ethnic Ukrainian or ethnic Belarusian with nationalist aspirations would be less inclined to reveal their true identity to a Polish census taker. Vague responses would have been a tactic to give the census takers misleading information while quickly sending them away. Using the vague term could have been a form of resistance or done out of unfounded fear of consequences by having information collected on them or even fear of reprisals within their own communities by assisting Polish census takers. Indeed, Ukrainian and Belarusian nationalists would never have been successful if they didn't have the "tutejszy" on their sides. Obviously the "tutejszy" were only such when dealing with Polish officialdom and not amongst their own when the Poles were away.

Another thought is that the use of the term may have been allowed by Polish authorities during that time period as a means to dissuade anti-Polish nationalism from spreading by showing in census figures that ethnic Ukrainians and ethnic Belarusians were not a large collective respectively. Being told their numbers were small would discourage open hostility because they would believe they had no strength in numbers.

Either way it didn't work in the end. The term never curtailed the nationalist movements from succeeding in achieving independent statehood nor did it dissipate Ukrainian and Belarusian enmity towards Poles.

Recently? Try 2012 when your lovey neo-liberal Tusk/Komorowski duo were running the show. Besides, handing Normie a Polish state honor is right up there with Victoria Beckham being given an OBE. The recipients tarnish the luster of the award.

especially the drive to normalisation

That's your and Normie's admission that there was a distinct Ukrainian presence residing on Polish lands. Otherwise there would have been no need for a "drive to normalization."

There was in fact no drive to "normalization" because Poles and Ukrainian always were and today remain distinct.

Face it, you and Normie are nothing more than immigrants. Cherry picking Polish history and ignoring critical details in a push to justify more future immigration into Poland so you won't continue to be reminded you are foreigners in Poland each time you walk outside simply won't wash.

Law / Lviv born. Can Polish ancestry be claimed? [34]

the government's drive towards cultural normalisation during the immediate post-independence years

You don't know what you are talking about.

There were already inhabitants in Galicja and other parts of today's Ukraine long before the Union of Lublin. They already had their own language and culture and it was Ruthenian spoken and practiced by the peasants and their princes alike.

Ruthenian identity and language in the region still survives today in the Carpathian parts of Slovakia and Ukraine.

Polonization did spread throughout these lands but did not extend to the peasant "locals" as you are calling them. It was the Lithuanian and Ruthenian gentry who adopted the Polish language, customs and converted to Roman Catholicism.

Ethnic Poles also migrated to the region but were not subsumed into the Ruthenian peasant class.

The Ruthenian peasants resented the presence and success of Poles on their lands and those who fled joined the Cossack resistance movement. The ability to live apart from Poles and Russians proper lead to the emergence of a Ukrainian identity.

As I already pointed out the language of the day for business and social mobility was Latin and Polish. Just like Poles were uninterested in learning Russian during the Soviet era so too were Ruthenians in becoming Polonized. The education system back then was far from being advanced, pervasive and integrated like it is today and those who worked the land their whole lives far away from the Polish speaking towns and cities had no access and no need to learn Polish anyway even if they were ruled by Poland.

During the reign of the Habsburg the Austrians actually introduced legislation in Galicja to give rights to the Ruthenian peasants to have information promulgated in their own language as well as have more equal rights. But because Galicja remained the poorest region in the Austro-Hungarian empire with no infrastructure investments and a hands-off approach to local rule the dictates from Vienna were largely ignored.

This preferred separateness in language and identity made it easy for the Nazis and Soviets to pit Ukrainians against Poles.

The Ukrainians have always wanted to be separate. Even the Soviet attempt to Russify Ukraine for decades never was effective and today the country is still linguistically and culturally partitioned.

There was never any "cultural normalization" because there was too much resistance to it.

So you and your fellow revisionist Brit Normie got it wrong.

Before the late 1920s very few of the ordinary people round there claimed any sort of Polish or Ukrainian identity

But "locals" who were suddenly able to pick sides easily after the late 1920?

No.

There was no monoculture among Poles and Ukrainians while Jews stood apart.

It's not a secret that the FN is backed by Russia.

It's interesting that your fake news stories alway fall short in explaining why Russia would be funding any so-called populist/nationalist presidential candidates.

You certainly don't mind though when a globalist Zionist non-state actor like Soros is splashing his cash around to fund opaquely run NGOs and anarchist groups in an attempt to shape socially malignant policies and sway politics and public opinion in his favor in democratic societies on both sides of the Atlantic.

posters are so keen to push pro-Russia views and opinions on PolishForums, while also abusing enemies of Russia such as Ukraine.

Yet, more neurotic conspiracy theories. Baiting as well. This is why I suggested those on indefinite probation should have limited daily postings with limited word counts.

But let's look at some facts.

Crimea was annexed by Russia in 2014.

The American president at the time was Barack Hussein Obama (a smirking liberal).

The French president at the time was François Hollande (an effete liberal).

The Polish prime minister at the time was Donald Tusk (a low-key liberal).

They didn't prevent or halt the Russian annexation of Crimea nor did they do anything to have it returned Ukraine. The conflict in Donbass also flared up on their watch and the situation is still unresolved.

They could have helped Ukraine join NATO too but again did nothing.

These navel-gazing cast of characters were no friends of Ukraine and never would be.

And what did they do for Poland while the Russian bear was growling once again on her doorstep? Not much as usual. Oh, sure, now there is a token American presence but the pace to send them was glacial.

Indeed, even Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz noted this at the time:

"We waited for decades, sometimes feeling we had been left alone, sometimes almost losing hope, sometimes feeling that we were the only one who protected civilization from aggression that came from the east,"

Source: usatoday.com/story/news/world/2017/01/14/poland-us-troops-nato-arrival-atlantic-resolve/96585564

Yep, lame duck Obama finally sent them when he was leaving office and Hillary's doomed-from-the-start presidential campaign was being blamed on the Russians rather than her lack of popularity and lack of ideas.

Sending US troops to Poland was just too conveniently scripted to fit a narrative. They weren't sent there to protect Poland. They were only sent there to make it look like the Democratic Party can act tough. But only when their own political careers and influence were threatened and blamed on a convenient bogeyman for the news cycles and not when Poland's actual safety and security are at stake by a historic aggressor.

Poland is still alone.

America and France are not going to sacrifice their own blood and treasure to save Poland in a conflict with Russia.

America and France never sent troops to rebuff imperialist Russia from its land grab of Poland.

The Nazi's bloody invasion of Poland wasn't the last straw for the Americans or the French.

And it was the Americans and French who left Poland to rot behind the Iron Curtain for decades.

but the reality is that there was a huge class of Polish and Ukrainian peasants who were almost indistinguishable

Yeah, sure. If according to your totally unfounded claim that they were "almost indistinguishable" then why are you still attributing terms like Polish and Ukrainian to them at all? Oh, that's right, because they were always VERY DISTINCT from each other. They knew it back then and you are in denial about it now.

Just like people living today, they too had ancestors who passed on language, history and other traditions down successive generations in their homes, local communities, schools and places of worship. They were also aware of who had ownership and wealth and who didn't and how this fell along ethno-linguistic lines.

Do you count Jews and Armenians among this "huge, almost indistinguishable, peasant class"? They were there too after all and certainly weren't running society from the top. No, of course you don't.

It doesn't matter what you want to believe anyway because you can't erase and rewrite history.

Indeed, if the linguistically-distinct, ethnically-aware denizens of Lwów & Galicja back then actually had a "we're all so much the same we don't know who we are" monoculture that you are trying to impose on them centuries later then you are the one who will have to explain, at the very least, the following:

- the Chmielnicki Uprising in 1648 and establishment of the Cossack Hetmanate;

- the establishment of a Ukrainian's People's Republic in 1917;

- the murder and displacement of tens of thousands of ethnic Poles from Galicja in 1943;

- the violent establishment of a "Jewish State of Israel" on Palestinian land in 1948 with both Zionist founders and subsequent waves of immigrants hailing from Galicja; indeed leaving Galicja in order to preserve their own identity with the ability to finally have political and economic power on someone else's land rather than remain in Galicja and continue to know their place

The only distinction was religion, as most inhabitants of Galicia had little to no comprehension that they spoke "Polish" or "Ukrainian". Ethnic differences were minimal

You're wrong.

People back then were keenly aware of what side of the tracks they lived on and who lived on the other side. In most cases there was limited communication. Not only due to limitations in transportation but because of the language barrier.

Even traditional folk garments among the different ethnic groups were very distinctive. But granted, such important details are often lost on oblivious and indifferent Anglo-Westerners.

Therefore language itself was absolutely crucial to social mobility.

Although Ukrainian evolved from the at-one-time language of court Ruthenian it eventually became the language for peasants as the region went through Polonization. It could have been worse like Yiddish being consigned to the sztetl and Hebrew in the local gog.

The business of church and state though was conducted primarily in Latin and Polish until Austrian rule introduced German as an official language. The language of commerce was Polish. If you only spoke Ukrainian or Yiddish then your opportunities were extremely limited. Since most Ukrainians worked the land there was little need and opportunities for them to learn other languages spoken in major cities like Lwów. Since Jews specialized in leather or metal works which would be marketed in the Polish speaking towns and cities this limited interaction spurred them to learn other languages while still preferring to live apart.

Ukrainians back then simply had a distinct ethnic identity but not yet a sense of a Ukrainian nationality. As for the Jews, the earliest roots of Zionism and call for an independent homeland can also be found in Lwów and surrounding Galicja all due to the entrenched social divisions.

Poles on the other hand have always cherished both a distinct ethnic identity and nationality.

She OBVIOUSLY is Ukrainian and therefore there should be NO WAY she becomes Polish citizen because of her ancestry.

Very good point.

Generations of inhabitants of prewar Lwów and the surrounding environs of Galicja maintained their distinctiveness ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and religiously.

Society was quite stratified too because of this and mixed marriages were an extremely rare occurrence.

This diversity was not a strength but rather a large factor in the lack of social cohesion which easily facilitated the expulsion of ethnic Poles from the region during successive occupations by Soviets and German Nazis as well as the completely unjustified and unforgivable massacre of nearly 100,000 Poles by Ukrainians at Wołyń.

If you bothered to read my first sentence and could actually comprehend it you could then admit that you have nothing to negotiate with.

You must have seen the writing on the wall and another long term suspension looming on your horizon and that is why you are "volunteering" yourself to be banned just so long as you can take everyone else down with you.

That's the mentality of a desperate cornered fugitive from the law who knows the game is up. You have nothing to lose so again you are in no position to bargain for anything. If you were ever interested in a so-called truce you would have moderated your own conduct after your first warning now lost way back in time.

Peace will be restored on here when you are your ilk are effectively neutered once and for all. And that is through indefinite probation with restricted daily posting.

Let's face it, you lot have way too much free time on your hands and you use it to abuse the forum and its members only for sake of boosting your own egos and relieving your boredom.

Feedback / Threads about Muslims to be automatically in Off-Topic? [20]

Perhaps you missed the offer which was made and ignored?

Ignored you should be. A serially suspended abusive troll like yourself has nothing to bargain with.

If you had any commonsense at all and appreciation for others it would dawn on you that like me and the other posters you are merely a registered guest on here. And your voluminous postings and the decade of your life spent on here will never give you any perks like seniority or deference shown to you by anyone.

You telling those who established and moderate the forum how they should do their job is like a convict telling a lawmaker what should go into legislation. You have no credibility whatsoever.

You and your fellow serially suspended troll have repeatedly betrayed the trust of the those who own and operate the forum and you have shown absolutely no respect towards other posters.

You and your cohort have also demonstrated repeatedly that suspensions can only halt unwarranted and unacceptable behavior but not correct it over the long term.

Therefore, like I suggested in another post, you and others who get suspended and are kindly allowed to come back should be placed on indefinite probation just like any other criminal released back into society would be.

And just like a curfew or other restrictive practices you should be limited to the number of posts you make per day and the number of words in each post. Other features like quoting, linking images and urls, and responding to posts in the off-topic section should also be completely disabled and off limits to you.

This way the burden is on you to decide if your two or three limited posts for the day will be something interesting and insightful about Poland or just more trolling blathering about the "PiSlamic State!"; "Jedwabne! Where are the reparations?!"; or completely unwarranted and disrespectful pedantic sniping at Admin and Mods about rules and protocols which you ignore but demand be applied to other posters.

Limited posting each day would also save the Mods plenty of time from having to clean up the giant mess you usually create when you are on here. Nor would they have to stop and respond to your constant nagging when they do clean up after you.

Your posts should also be pre-moderated and delayed from displaying by up to a day or longer. This too would make great strides in curbing your constant infantile need for attention and instant gratification regardless of how it negatively impacts other posters and the overall image of the forum.

And so you can feel like you have a say in all this your probation should be applied to you and your fellow trolls effective immediately. No warnings and no exceptions.

Love / How do I find out if someone is a bigamist? [20]

Here's an interesting case of bigamy involving a...woman...100 euro fine and was given six months to pay it - not too bad considering the offence carries a maximum sentence of seven years.

LOL!

You seriously think in this day and age any court anywhere in the West would have thrown the book at her? Ha ha ha ha ha! Too funny.

Please. Why did they even bother subjecting her to the law at all? I'm surprised the court didn't offer her an apology for inconveniencing her.

Floozy behavior is so commonplace now that she could never be shamed by society for committing bigamy.

But she deliberately lied three times on three separate forms falsely claiming she was single and free to marry. The pathetic fee serves as no penalty and no deterrent for this obvious sham marriage to a second Pakistani migrant husband (whom surprise, surprise she subsequently became estranged from) and only confirms the gynocentrism of the Western legal system.

I presume that the man mentioned by the OP would have to be prosecuted in Poland

No presumptions. It would be guaranteed the man would have been prosecuted and punished to the fullest extent of the law anywhere in the West.
