Australia / Polish Culture in Melbourne, Australia [87]
i think so....but you're best contacting a polish club near you. where do you live?
it was mixed when i went, there were some older creepy types and also some younger one.
my parents also used to go to them...i got dragged when i was young (on a new years from memory). ahh watching the oldies really get into the chicken dance.
so are these dziupla dances the most common (and only) way of catching up with poles in the Melbourne area's?

How many younger people attend these dances compared to the older groups? My parents used to attend some organised polish functions similar to the dziupla ones I believe but I never attended as I thought they were only for the older generation.
