We are not quite ready to marry just yet , i was just wondering what the situation would be if we did marry....

We get on so well , and for sure we are going to be together , but nooo not married just yet....

I also want to deny any connection with a long haired Harley rider that was involved in an incident in Polczyn zdroj...! It was not me hanging naked from a tractor inner tube in the park....just somebody that looked like me....ok..?

And i have never been to the Rynek.... yet...?

kids always brought knives, guns and drugs to school?

Well when i was at achool.....many years ago in the UK i was searched and had a weapon confiscated....I wasn,t given any reciept for my catapault , and i never got the dam thing back....The teacher is long since dead , so i guess i won,t get it back now...?

Love / LIFE IN POLSKA....Englishman married to Russian... [30]

Now , this could be a tricky one....! This year my Russian girlfriend is coming to live with me in my home in Polska , i am an Englishman who has lived here for five years...

Up to now i have been registering as a resident on my farm every three months , but next time i do it it covers me for five years....

What i need to know is.......How do we go about getting permission for my girlfriend to live at my home , can she work here , and what is the position if we decide to get married either in Poland , or more likely in Moscow....

I think i have just about sussed out the position as regards visiting my family in the UK with a Russian wife , but the Polish situation is still a bit of a Mystery to me....

I have the right to live and work in Polska , but what about my Russian wife....?

Any help appreciated...

I must confess i am rather envious...I would love to do such a trip , but sadly funds are lacking , and what little i have has got to be put into turning my hovel into a home ready for my Russian lady...Did anyone see the programmes on telly covering the attempt to ride round the world on motorcycles ( mondo enduro )..? It was a great adventure , the toughest part was the ride through Siberia , not so many roads out there...!

Can anyone tell me more about this....If i were to marry a Russian lady , what would our status be.... The marriage will take place in Moscow , and we will reside in Poland...

I am a British citizen , and have been registered as a resident in Poland for five years.....What would be her position as my wife ...as regards her needing a visa to live in Poland , work in Poland , or visit the UK with me to see my family....

Do i need to notify somebody of my intention to marry a Russian even if we do not intend to live in the UK , and who do we notify...?

Well there you are...! thats the opinion of the two posters on the forum that know least about women , but are in there spouting about something that is still a mystery to them...As soon as any thread has any possible connection to any form of sex , there are two people who are just certain to appear...God knows what they will be like if they actually get to have sex with some dumb woman one day....?

couldn't get in today and looks likely again tomorrow.

Have a look on Autotrader...buy yourself a Jeep cherokee , they are going for about 500 quid now , not the most fuel efficient of machines unless you pay a bit more and get one that runs on lpg , but you will get through the snow without any problem....

You can also get diesal ones but watch out for early models with head gasket problems....

Stop ************ us with those "I have a land-rover stories". NO one believes you.

Just because i don,t have a whole lot of money at the moment does not mean i never had...In my garden at the moment is a Landrover 110 lwb , a Rangerover 3.9 V8 , and a Diesal Jeep cherokee...My hobby is off roading , and it was leading covoys of 4 x 4 vehicles to Eastern europe that brought me to Polska in the first place on route to Belarus....

It does not matter if you believe that or not...I am not trying to impress anyone by claiming to have my own private yacht , its just a few old 4 x 4 cars , why is that so hard for you to believe...?

Not true...those of us with a 4 x 4 with decent tyres on just love to go out and play in the snow...If you have an old Landrover its the only time you can go faster than everybody else...!

You made a lot of good points there Fuzzy , my contacts with young people leave me feeling that most of them want to leave Poland if they have the chance , and if all those that wanted to leave had the money and opportunity to do so , then Poland would be be in a lot of trouble some day...

The ones that are going to leave are the ones with drive and ambition , the very people that Poland is going to need in the future , and the country will only be occupied by the old , the sick , and the Buraks , oh , and Brits like me who are stubborn enough to stay no matter how tough life is...

The Polish government is doing its best to encourage Poles to return to Poland , and i am sure they would not welcome the USA making it easier for Poles to leave....
