i would have expected to see some photos of the now famous words... scrawled above a doorway or two to work premises. such is the nature of humour.

one reason post disappears... coming from the uk... is that the list of contents must be written on the stick-on-label. as well as that, the value of the enclosed goods is also on full view.
thieves get to pick and choose... before they even open the parcel.

the fashion now is for a lower heel. so you should be ok
most women wear jeans in winter. the extra layer would be tights/pantyhose
the way to keep warm in winter... is to keep moving
keep an eye on the long range weather forecast and buy clothes accordingly.
if the weather is really bad you won't be going out, will you ?

about ten years ago it became clear to outside nations how Polish slaughter houses and some traders treated horses. about the same time advertising posters appeared here. they said 'made in poland' and featured a horse in distress. the horse meat/slaughter industry was made to clean up its act.
i think the horse meat trade was connected to italy.

if you haven't spoken to her... send a letter of introduction first and ask about sending on pictures later. if you send valuable pictures... make sure they are copies... just in case.
try to find a trusted person here in poland to work on your behalf
a small parcel delivered to a house... anyone who answers the door can sign for it.
