USA, Canada / US Polonia 70% for Kaczyński [343]

Agreed, I don't care if 80% of Polish-Americans voted for PIS or 80% of Polish Londoners voted for PO. It should be a threshold. Let say - five years no tax paid in Poland - no vote.
It is beyond me that someone who haven't even been in Poland has a right to decide where my money should go...

have anyone of you ever cared to see how many people are eligible to vote in America - 50 000?

now you see that is known as self deprecation, I am telling you this because this a very unfamiliar attitude among PIS types, so you might not have come across this term before(:

no I haven't come across such a term - must be because I am a boaster :)

you are yank right ?

no i am not an American.

are you French?? I don't like French people you know :) not that I know any French people but I still don't like'em (oh wait a second I met one guy who was born and raised in France but hell he was a son of a Berber lady living in London and he was like amiable

b) thoughts and feelings are much easier to explain than taste.

feelings are not well explainable unless you feel them too - can you understand people who hate Jews, Arabs, Blacks - can you understand people who hate themselves? - can you understand people who fast for long periods - do you believe there are people who don't eat at all (or hardly eat) (I do believe there are such people)

That some of those buyers will be able to use those assets to the disadvantaged of the Polish state and whats-more to majority of Poles - is no concern of PO, they do not care about people but themselves.

I can subscribe to that as most of the PiS voters

what do you know about transsexualism and why do you think it's OK to mock a transsexual?

I already answered the first section - the other part is I am and will not maliciously mock a transsexual - the thing is many issues involved with it are just startling comical to my mind - would I defend a transsexual person that is abused - I'd imagine so

I actually tend to read extensively on a lot of subjects. I have a curious mind. Answer my question first though.

me too - what does it change actually - do you think you have a grasp of what transsexualism is all about - can you say you understand such people?

to help you answer this question or stop attempting to answer it I will ask you this - how much do you have to read about olives to know how they taste? or perhaps whale flesh?

Language / Polish insult that sounds kinda like " e sha vees ta" ? [16]

isthatu2

I love hearing all these old hidden dialects that seem to have largely disapeared in todays Poland :)

have you heard the Kurpian dialect (or generally northern Masovian dialects) - I guess you will love it - my grandparents from the side of my mum spoke that - they have a sound similar to 'th' in that - and other not quite typically Polish sounds

Who cares ?

well maybe those people actually would care if they knew - for me it shows they don't know who they are voting for (neither on broader nor stricter scale)

Of course - Palikot's personal income is in the highest tier. :)

and the VAT on food items is now 7 per cent - I guess he would like to have it 18 per cent (no ohter way to balance a budget)

mafketis you very often prove to be very well oriented in the Polish politics - and I agree with you diagnose almost 100 per cent - what is more I actually think before the next election the media will put their stake on Palikot (if he or his 'members' don't make an utter fool of him in the meantime) because the PO will be 'worn-out'

News / POLAND TO BECOME THE NEXT GREECE? [28]

Are Foreign investors leaving or coming to invest in the Polish Economy because of a weak zloty ?

what do you mean by investors actually - those people who buy Polish bonds are not investors - neither are those who put money into Polish banks to make use of bank interest differences

Anecdotal evidence, anyone? I know at least two people who are well versed in politics and they are pro-Palikot. What now?

have you fallen for Palikot Magda? and well what do you mean by well versed in politics? that they can read a newspaper? I know plenty of people who cannot actually and they are hmm sort of educated people

One thing is for sure, no matter how bad things get in Poland, you'll see no social protest.

you will you will - once they introduce the 'podatek katastralny' you surely will

Please name the 5 core values of each major party, i.e PO, PiS and SLD.

pretty difficult - PiS is a well meaning party even if they revert to populism - they are bad liars Kaczyński a very bad liar

Tusk is able to actually convince himself into believing in what he is going to say next - that's why he's such a good liar, poser - he really believes he's the best thing that could happen to Poland - that's why he comes across as very convincing to many who don't know details

I know it's not the answer you expected but for me your question is quite difficult

Please name the 5 core values of each major party, i.e PO, PiS and SLD. Oh, has Kommie died? I never hear of the man. The Silent President

you really don't follow Polish politics Sean - you haven't noticed that Mr Pres woke up just before the election - has given a profound interview to Monika Olejnik (quite funny actually if one follows his word and logics)

religion should not be banned from public discourse - the state should just not finance it - pretty simple i guess

actually what RCC does not realize probably is that religion classes in school DO backfire on them - and well - do I really mind - RCC is a perversion of the Christ teaching anyway

anyway - no religion in schools, no state funding of clergy retirees, investigation into the 'return of church property' and there is actually no room for Palikot anymore
